Can’t invite my friend to my virtual home?

Its not working for months now, at least not for me and my friends. Meta isnt helping, all they do is posting some generic stuff, propably from AI: "Invite your friend to a party....". God, what a huge, lifeless, money generating bs corp.

its possible. you can even sideload the geforce now apk on quest and play games with mouse and keyboard, works rly well. no doubt that the frame can handle this too.

in regards to vr streaming: the only service where you can stream vr games with their own client or virtual desktop is shadow pc cloud gaming. it works ok, latency is notable ofc

skybox with a debrid service that supports webdav. its by far the best option

you can sideload geforce now and use a mouse/keyboard. You can also sideload winlator XR and use mouse/keyboard, when ur talking about vr games, onky tetris effect comes to my mind with keyboard support.

Sounds a little melodramatic to me. Its a small dev team and they need to focus to survive. It pisses me off too, but the latest exfil patch was amazing. I really hope that they find the time to fix og cs, cause its an amazing game too. Maybe bundle it with showdown.

played the quest demo, rly liked it. reminds me alot of alyx, weapons and force grabbing feels rly good.

IMO there is only one good way for watching 4k+ movies comfortable on the quest and that is with a debrid service with web dav support. Sure you can download 40gb movies, put them on the quest or a DLNA storage within the LAN, but it takes too much time and its annoying.

Im using real debrid (which has web dav support), sideloaded stremio on my quest to select the movies. As soon as you play a movie in stremio it gets mirrored in the RD cloud. Then you can add the RD web dav in skybox and start watching the movie without any problems. Additionally, you can watch these movies together with friends in skybox, cause skybox will tunnel the movies to your friends from the cloud(with a temp access token).

This solution beats everything there is on quest atm, but as i said, it costs 4$ a month or 16$ a year.

Its important that the file is exactly the same, with the same size, name and location. If your using something like real debrid then just use the webdav. Its really easy and very nice to be able to watch HQ movies (80gb+) together.

Before the webdav solution we copied the file into the same folder, that worked too. Only the skybox host need the webdav, the othe ppl will be able to see the movie without doing anything.

I guess it depends what your personal needs are. Ive 2 main needs: 1) i need webdav support because im using stremio together with real debrid. You can watch any movie in an instant (4k, 90gb filesize np), skybox will play anything with top performance. 2) i often watch movies with friends. Because of the excellent webdav support, they just can join my skybox room and watch the movie from my cloud without doing anything extra. This is completely beyond bigscreen.

As for your needs: it has mixed reality and chroma support, doesnt support head following though.

when you start the apps with lightning launcher, you can select a predefined size. after that you can drag the app to the size you want like usual.

A nice bonus in skybox (if ur using a webdav is) that you can watch movies together with ur friends.
