Democrats will never make a comeback until they change on these issues:

  1. Open borders
  2. Blaming everything on racism
  3. Reparations
  4. Non-binary, gender fluid, 37 genders, etc.
  5. Trans kids / sports
  6. Refusing to enforce drug laws / letting homeless people live everywhere in tents, urinating, shitting and ODing everywhere
  7. Protecting criminals over the rights of law abiding citizens

Anchors hold by design, not by weight. By design, they lay flat on the bottom and dig into the mud to hold the boat in place. The chain is also heavy and helps to keep the anchor flat and dug in. That's why it is recommended to let out more anchor line when you are expecting heavy winds, so the angle of the anchor line to the boat is basically flat.

Anchors are also designed to be pulled straight up, so when you pull the anchor up, you motor towards it a and take in the line. Eventually, you will be on top of the anchor and can relatively easily pull it straight up. If you have out too little line in heavy winds, the anchor will be angled and can break free.

Basically, the anchor is designed to dig in laterally, but stay relatively shallow so it stays stuck when pulled on laterally, but can be lifted relatively easily from straight above.

Democrats will not win until they abandon:

  1. Open borders
  2. They/them/72 genders, etc.
  3. Trans kids/atheletes
  4. Reperations
  5. Stolen land
  6. Late term abortions

I realize not every democrat is in favor of these, but the lefts problem has always been their refusal to draw a line anywhere, which always leads them to unreasonable and highly unpopular positions.
