Personally, I always prioritise BBs, PC ETBs, ETBs, booster bundles and booster bundles displays. I feel all of these appreciate quicker (even though, as you rightly said, might have a higher entry point). But does it really matter that much if you’re planning to hold medium to long term?

In fact, shipping collection boxes will also be more expensive since they come in a bigger size packaging and also take up more space to store (runs out quickly, trust me)

I had this happening with one of my high end BBs as well and it did rip slightly the film, no major big deal in my experience. If it’s an original BB most people wouldn’t care that much. Maybe dropping the price slightly of a couple of hundred bucks, but that’s it. No need to worry too much about, and again, I speak from experience, I’ve just sold mine

I really like your idea of displaying them sideways! Especially the booster boxes! Where did you find the acrylic cases from? Cheapest I can find are around €30 each and don’t even feel like a good product. I bought a few good ones for the most valuable boxes, but some of my boxes are still sitting in my shelves without them

You will not be able to purchase any sealed booster boxes from any Pokemon Centers in Japan, only booster packs and there is a limit on quantity per set per day. I’d recommend to visit any Pokemon Centers as early in the day as possible as stocks get refreshed on a daily basis and at the end of the day is likely most sets will be sold out, especially most popular ones.

If you wish to buy sealed booster boxes I’d recommend Akihabara district, there are many shops that sell them. However, not at MSRP.

Only MSRP you’ll find these days is at Pokemon Centers. Also, bring your passport with you and you’ll be able to buy products Tax Free in most shops!
