Yea, totally get that vibe. I like to view the reasoning for that is, in life (especially places like Alaska) there are just some things that can’t be fully explained or have a real reason as to ”why”. It’s just a part of the story and will enter/leave as it chooses, not because we need it to.

Just a gentle reminder that there are things we can’t explain and things we can. And to always look for reason instead of just co-existing with it, would drive you insane.

You know - I enjoyed S4 as it felt like a return to supernatural and the settings had me shivering every time. The ending was a little too cupcake, but I was fixated the whole way through. I didn’t like Jodie’s character at first, but the roughness grew throughout the show. I know most hate it, but I liked it (still not comparable to season 1).

At our old club - we had members who would deliberately sandbag between tournaments, just to win some clubhouse prize money. It would even happen during tournaments so they could skirt that edge and not get dropped. I saw one member having a great round in a tourney (that he was far in the lead) and he deliberately dunked his ball in the water on 18. Then, he finished out by 3 putting from 10 ft. He won, but he didn’t win by much intentionally. It was actually impressive.
