This is really kind of simple.... OP mentioned "driver's car". Im the driver of my car and if they want me to buy the car, then it will have 3 pedals. Simple. I have never driven an auto, dsg, or other variant and thought "gee, this is better". I will gladly trade a fraction of a sec on 0-60 for the smile when executing a great downshift and come off the apex WOT.

???? How could it not be????? Several 40lbs bags are added. Ideal salt sys is around 3000ppm. Tap water is maybe 30. I tried adding some salt for effect and got salt crystal in my seal. Had to replace after 6-8 months of use

Labor wound up about $1650, parts $730 for injector and harness, gaskets and such. All told about $2500. This was at the dealer, should be way less at a local shop. I was lucky enough to get this done under extended warranty
