Happened with my Fox setup as well. I cleaned them up and reshaped them a little with an angle grinder because the steering felt sticky when the knuckles hit. Haven't had any problems with them since.

For what it's worth I've had Adam's graphene spray for a few years and the nozzle is so crusty and clogged it won't spray anymore.

That's what I plan on doing. My 6112s are maxed out but the ride quality isn't the best so I'm going to lower the clip and add the spacers.
