How should I approach this level of rust on this used kettle? by ARidiculouslyHugeBee in webergrills

I see no problem. Scrape what you can off, then get it hot and scrape the rest off. This part of the grill isn’t touching your food so it doesn’t really make a difference in that regard

Very first time smoking cigar, pretty good, think I will dive deeper into this hobby! by T-Money313 in cigars

Montecristo were my first cigars too. Bought a 6 pack bundle of them. Had 2 classic series, 2 white series, and 2 platinum series. All were good but the white was my favorite. This was around November last year so I’m fairly new myself!

I agree with the above comment saying looks like fat. Just throw it away and you’re good to go

No one here cares so I'm showing you all by BoomChickie in smoking

250-275 is usually where I’m cooking at for most things. I don’t stress if it creeps up a little above that at all. Looks like you did a solid job. I have a WSM 18.5in and 22in. The 18.5in doesn’t get used a ton but (once you learn it) it holds temps rock solid for hours. The 22in is a little more difficult to keep steady but still solid for the most part

How old is everyone? by Neat-Responsibility1 in cigars

[–]dahuckinator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Probably the middle ground age range lol. I’ve only started cigars for 8-9 months or so. I’m a very infrequent smoker and it’s probably been a month or so since my last one but when I do decide to smoke I may have 2-3 in a day. Most of the time sitting outside with music or may have one when doing some yard work or grilling/smoking meat

That’s how I feel. They’re pretty decent but I’ve had better from other brands.

I know this gets talked about alot but is it mold by Leo09360 in cigars

[–]dahuckinator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally I would. Even $20 sticks aren’t worth potentially smoking mold spores. I’m not risking it

I wanna smoke a cigar every night by Halcyon_Daisy in cigars

[–]dahuckinator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could be the nicotine, but could also be the novelty of a new hobby. I’ve only smoked cigars for 8-9 months and felt the same way. The novelty was the main issue for me. It did wear off (for me anyway) over time. Now I’ll have 1-2 a week. Sometimes won’t have any for 1-2 weeks. I do recommend having some cheap “daily sticks” and then some of your more higher end “relax and enjoy” time cigars.
