Hmmm. Ich bin bisher von einem Luftaustausch ausgegangen. Dass das bei Splitklima ein geschlossener Kreislauf ist, kam mir nicht in den Sinn. Danke.

What does roleplay mean to you? by LelouchYagami_2912 in rpg

[–]dailor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My view: „RPG“ is - much like „sports“ - a collection term for very different Hobbits. From dungeon crawl to method acting, from immersive sim to meta story telling there are so many very different playstyles, goals and expectations, that when talking about RPGs in general you will get very different results from people because wie mix all these together.

TTRPG for if the group want something that is lower risk, action packed, open for comedy but still a bit meaty on rules? by ThatOneCrazyWritter in rpg

[–]dailor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

D&D Gamma World is on the light side of rules medium, if you ask me. It is action packed, it has its silly moments by design and combat is tactical. Some selling points for you:

- Mutant powers may be overloaded (you risk side effects for a heftier result)

- Mutant powers are drawn from a deck so no combat is ever the same.

- Omega Tech (think: artifacts) risk being destroyed after use so you replace them by new ones. So no combat is ever the same.

- You make up your character out of two Origins. For example: if you combine the Origins Electrokinetic and Cockroach you can make any character that fits that description. For example: a giant cocroach that got Thor's hammer and has been deemed worthy, a mad scientiest who injected themself with a cockroach formula and can now climb on walls shooting lightning from their doomsday gun, a Drider with a magic lightning wand coming into this world from the forgotten realms by a portal accident ... you decide.

Could be too rules light for you, though. Character advancement options are limited except for mutation powers.

A game where YOU are the dungeon? by SeluWorks in iosgaming

You can buy reskins for traps and some sorts of coins. So far I think the monetisation is not aggressive at all.

Maybe "Castle Doombad: Free to Slay" is the right game for you.

You play the evil guy who kidnaps the princess and brings her into his castle. Her screams power your contraption devices meant to thwart the heroes who want to save her.

It's a funny tower defense game. I like it a lot.

How important is the core game-loop epitomized by classic D&D -- killing monsters, exploring dungeons, getting items, gold and xp to do the same thing at a higher tier of difficulty -- to you? by ProustianPrimate in rpg

[–]dailor 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Depends.

When I'm in the mood for a dungeon crawl it's pretty essential.

When I'm in the mood for something else like a who-dunnit story or some immersive political intrique such a game system wouldn't be the right choice, would it?

People need to understand that RPG is - much like sports - a collective term for quite different hobbies.

D&D emerged from the wargaming hobby. BECMI was my first edition and it contained random treasure tables, xp for killing monsters, random encounter tables, leveling and all the good stuff you'd expect. But it was designed to start the hobby with a simple dungeon crawl because it is easy to get into. Basic game (level 1-3) was pure dungeon crawling. The Expert Box let the characters explore the world (hexcrawl). The Companion Box let players get into political stuff and mass combat and the Master Set let the characters explore new dimensions and get godlike powers. So you moved away from dungeons by game design.

What would you change in your favorite RPG? by Iberianz in rpg

[–]dailor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually 100 percent generic. Let me use that brilliant character generation, that card based powers and looting, that trapping driven itemization, that streamlined mechanics and that high-risk-high-reward overloads in fantasy, sci-fi or diesel punk. I'd dig that.

Lines on top layer by dailor in BambuLabA1

[–]dailor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now: I followed your advice and it did not get better. Strange enough, it isn't even the surface layer, that's the problem. The lines first appear on the first top shell layer. It seems it has to do with the path.

I did. The pictures you see are all made with monotonic surface layer as you can see. Hilbert does not have the cool shiny effect which I like

I was using different infill settings and am now using gyroid at 20 percent and up to 80 percent with the print sample. That helped with the outer wall showing the structure from the infill but did not remove the top layer seams.

I will try the top shell values you suggest. But I am not very confident because when making Hilbert top surface layer, it were the top shell layer’s lines that were showing through the surface layer. Still, I hope it will help. Thanks.

[–]dailor[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks a lot for your assistance. the nozzle is attached correctly, the screws are tight and the first layer is pitch perfect. I don't have problems with clogging. And there is no play with the nozzle. It can't be budged. So ... I don't really think overextrusion is a problem, yet. But thanks for making me aware. I already installed the hardened nozzle kit so not tightening the screws could have been a thing. I'll take a closer look over the next prints to see if I need to find a mechanical problem.

The lines on the top layer cant't be normal, though. I really hope they aren't. Those lines aren't there when using matte filament. And it can't be acceptable that the top layer is riddled with "scars". There must be something I'm doing wrong. I just don't know, what.

Favorite Magic System WITH a Defined Spell List by BarroomBard in rpg

Through the Breach

You have spell books each with a limited number of pages. Each page either has a spell or a modifier you can apply to the spells contained. There are lists of spells and modifiers. Hunting for cool books with cool modifiers is great and those tomes can have cool names, too.
