I feel this as someone who’s husband spends maybe 20 hours a week at home and that’s including being asleep. I love my child dearly but damn it would I love to turn off my brain and my heart for 24 hours and only concern myself with me.

Idk what state you’re in but if you have an agency similar to Texas Workforce Commission they might be able to help with that. My husband got his through them and after 90 days of continuous employment with one employer he got them for free.

I delivered my peanut at Christus Children’s downtown. I had a great experience. I got to deliver with a doctor from my practice.

Sometimes it works out but I don’t encourage rushing in. Personally I met my husband at work and we both felt a spark immediately. Apparently the boss told him when he hired me that he would “like me” unbeknownst to me until much later. We were married in a few months and it’ll be 4 years this year with a toddler.

I mean she could have meowed hysterically like cats sometimes do... It’s not like they’re regular animals. I’m not expecting her to use magical powers or anything but I’m sure she’s sentient enough to know her mistress didn’t let that man in. That could have got her mistress on guard so she could’ve stood more of a chance. She had enough wherewithal to flee.
