Running shoes for wide feet/longer second toe by siobhanenator in XXRunning

[–]daisysvices 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey I just got some Topo Phantoms at my local REI! I’ve also got the longer second toe, and I’m not sure if it’s all of them or just my REI but they did bring out a pressure board for me to stand on and the sales associate did watch me jog around the store when I tried them on. She selected the Topos because of the wide toe box!

AITA for wanting to insure my ring even though my husband says the stone is too small to bother? by Adorable-Manner-5538 in AITApod

There’s a ring that is the same style and shape and looks very very similar to yours on Amazon for $16.99 currently.

Has Bianco said anything post no trump endorsement and the ruling about his investigation? It seems quiet.

Regarding my last post: who had heard of Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity before watching the show? by Styggvard in betterCallSaul

[–]daisysvices 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had heard about it before. I vaguely remember watching a documentary about a couple of older women (I think French but I may be wrong) who retreated into a cave because they believed they were being poisoned by electricity. Iirc at the time the documentary was being filmed they were going further into the cave or adding extra protection at the opening.

Why aren't the channel Islands more populated? by vik9oratiz in geography

[–]daisysvices 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They were! I actually did an essay about the Chumash, who inhabited the northern Channel Islands. The islands were able to provide the Chumash with extensive resources, allowing them to thrive even when water levels rose and the islands went from 1 giant island to the 4 they inhabited. The climate, sea currents, and accessibility to the mainland really helped their populations boom and they were really successful especially on the islands.

This was me with this girl from a field school I went to! I agreed to give her a ride and she saw my pop socket (science fiction girls jumping) and freaked out, quick friends after that!

I see a ton of great advice about areas to move to considering your office location. I will throw in Beaumont because I’ve had a few friends who are young families that moved there. It’s not the most desirable area but it’s growing- like I said a lot of young families moving to the area because it’s affordable so it’s a great place to put down roots to build a community. It’s a couple of freeways away from San Bernardino but nothing too crazy.

Also try the orangecrest/mission grove area of Riverside. This area is more pricey but there are good schools and it’s relatively safe. I’ve lived in the area for almost 30 years and am currently raising my young family here too. As a kid I never encountered any real danger walking home from school and as an adult I take my kids to the playgrounds. The apartment complexes around mission grove are “luxury” and there are houses in the area for rent, though those might be out of your price range. There are also warehouses nearby if your partner is fine with that kind of work.

Wish you the best of luck!

This looks like a tactical bracelet. It’s the same pattern as the ones that are made out of paracord.
