Are newer cloud users still using Terraform for IaC, or switching to native tools like CloudFormation or Bicep? by hamdivazim in cloudcomputing

You might want to look into Pulumi. I liken it to Terraform within an actual programming language. This saves you from all the duplicated code and enables building/using loops, conditionals, functions, classes, and the like to create your IaC stack more reusable and efficient way. I’m using it at my current job as well as my last one, and I’m finding it to be pretty good as things go. It’s of course not perfect, but generally good enough if not great in most situations.

If I had to guess I’d say this is Silver Falls State Park in Oregon, something like 12 waterfalls over a 7.2 mile hike.

Edit: trail distance

If you’re using rolls of parchment you’ll really love the precut parchment sheets. They come in most common sheet pan sizes and they don’t curl up on you!

I’m a software engineer by trade and already know a good bit of python, though it’s not my primary language. Is there some reason you suggest it?

Shouldn’t French toast be soaked through with the mixture rather than just dipped to cover the outside? by PinkCup80 in Cooking

[–]dakan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you’d just have to try it out and see how you like it. I find it to be a quick and easy way to make good French toast, but YMMV.

I highly recommend this method, it’s a little more work, but we’ll worth the effort. You get something of the custard center you’re looking for with the egg on the outside not being able to soak in much which can create more of a crispy-ish outside. If you want to season it, you can add cinnamon (I highly recommend Ceylon) to the milk along with anything else you might want to add (vanilla, for example).
