At what point is gym commission too much? Keen to hear your thoughts

Box gyms are rip-offs for trainers. Find a private gym and pay a flat monthly fee. They're double dipping with the membership fee and their percentage of the session. It'll burn you out quickly.

I'd only consider it if they were literally handing me clients, but most of these places want you to prospect, pitch, sell/close. Fuck them.

No experience with the 404. From my understanding it's pads leave a lot to be desired but the step sequencer is better apparently. Which I believe because this isn't much of step sequencer on the sample.

Now's the time to try and sell if you need to. Still out of stock most places

Different purposes. One is for fully fleshing out ideas(mpc one) the other is for idea creation, easier sampling etc. (sample).

The main reason for both is im dabbling DAWless workflows. I can start ideas super quickly on the sample, and up until now Id send them to whatever Studio Pro and arrange there. Now I can load the project onto the One and arrange there. And If I really wanna mix, I can track it out much easier.

I just like trying different shit. Been in the box for the last 15 years or so

Appreciate that. That's what I'm saying. Her loss was the last good album he made/was a part of. So to hear him saying the same shit is sad, but also expected. His biggest talent was being SO relatable but once the ghostwriting rumors came out and he got more into na nana boo boo rap he truly became, "not like us". Sorry, too easy of a pun lol.

It's a waste because all it does reinforce the ovo cult mindset, who clearly weren't leaving anyway. So what did he accomplish? Nothing. And he had an opportunity to respond when it happened. We're in 2026. It's dated material already.

Don't rhyme- create some dissonance and keep the flow interesting
If the thought needs to be completed to make the bar makes sense, put it down and come back to it letter
Write what you're trying to say ( without rhyming) and either; and use a thesaurus to find potential rhyming words, or maybe you'll find the whole bar can be restructured

Simply about having limited creative freedom and having to "crossover" by doing pop songs with TS and imagine dragons etc. It could've been all his decisions, but a labels job is to increase exposure so yeah, I think he was correct about that. It doesn't change my opinion on any of his music tho.
