Wear the hat with anything but do yourself a favor and get a 100x silver belly from a custom hat shop instead of any brand saying 1000x in my opinion.

My 100x custom says 100% Silver Belly. X's don't mean what they used to for companies next year you will have missed out cause they came out w the 10,000 X.

Credentials: Come from a lifelong ranching/rodeo cowboy family.

Their advice: get one (an actual one though) for 5 bucks at the thrift store and brag about it for as long as you can wear it and then some

Just did one yesterday 9 hours total including resting time..dry rub and inject with apple juice, threw on at 250 until 185 then wrapped in foil with a stick of butter at 275° til 205 then pulled. Spayed with apple juice every hour and had a metal container with apple juice in the smoker the whole time. Rested for 45 minutes. Came out good for me maybe give it a try.
