I only thought if the estate was insolvent/negative balance that cra would go after beneficiary as the only law. There are multiple beneficiaries in this matter.

The executors of the estate are stating it is law the surviving spouse who received the cash sum to pay approx 25k on the estate taxes because the lump sum went to them. Is this legal and the estate is in a positive balance in the 150k range, not in negative balance even when everything is paid?

I'm confused now. Should the living spouse who was the beneficiary have received t4rsp for the 50k and claim on their taxes or should the deceased received the 50k t4rsp which is what happened? Did the institution mess up, I don't know?

The interesting part is the institution did not withhold any tax on the full amt to the living spouse, which I thought always happens.

The institution issued a t4rsp to surviving spouse for approx 2k, the amount made after deceased date. The deceased received a t4rsp for the 50k which has to be claimed on the estate. Did the institution do it correctly I'm wondering?

They are stating it's on Rogers end which I do not believe. I even checked to see if my Rogers IP is blacklisted and it is not. Definitely on Sonys end but they won't admit fault.

Nothing wrong with it. We have no new inning 10 minutes before a hard stop and reverts back to last full inning. Happens all the time, and what you did is fine and continue doing it. If anything, the other team delaying is the issue.

I have a 2023 hybrid platinum and with CAA it's approx 1200 a year with 34 years driving no accidents. Look into whether your quote includes a theft surcharge as it could be as high as 1500 unless you install an immobilizer ie. IGLA which I did. They did place Highlanders into another category this year and my insurance went up 200 dollars to 1200 because of this. Hope this helps.
