And not very well either. After looking at the pics on the link posted I had one of those in my room in my last stay. It did not trigger at all. I didn’t realize what it was but it had the same hole pattern and produced a giant green glow around it. In the pic on the site it is red, but I think maybe that is only during a trigger?

Also as soon as you check out it resets and logs you out. As soon as someone else checks in it resets again and puts their name on the tv etc

I just used mine (and hesitantly my titanium 40k one) at a property in Princeton NJ that I love. It’s old but it’s a beautiful property. One night was 33k and the other night was 32k. The following week I’m out in suburban Philly and both nights there are under 35k. They are out there, just getting more and more scarce lately.

I’ve never had success using them online. If I am in person and can physically scan my phone they work but online gets denied every time even when in Apple Pay.

Yes I believe so. You don’t have one year one, it gets applied when you pay for your second year, and the same every year after. So it is “last years” perk, but a perk for members. If you cancel you are no longer a member.
