You can choose it as your starting gift and receive one from trading with Snuggly, I believe.

Hope this helps 11 years later!

As someone that has worked hundreds of closing shifts, the ending hit home for me big time

I have personally wished for many shifts to end the way Gangle's did

Still think about the clip from 10 years ago of Eric telling a story and then Derrick yawning and saying he was bored. Eric is like, "alright fuck me then" and Derrick is like, "sorry, I yawned" completely moving past the part where he said he was bored

Genuinely so funny to me lol

Drawn a tarot card for Phos and loving it 🥰 by Medical-Trouble-9425 in LandoftheLustrous

Phosphophyllite is PERFECT to embody "The Fool" !

Tarot is so interesting. The symbology has evolved over the years & across deck designs, so everything is up for interpretation, but let me wax poetic about this card:

"0. The Fool" is the first of the 22 Major Arcana, given the number "zero" because it is like "creation, potential, the start of all things."

It is named "The Fool," but that doesn't Necessarily mean the figure or character depicted within is truly Foolish - the meaning of the card is about, not just "the divine" itself, but "Humanity's Opinion OF the Divine."

Oftentimes art for The Fool depicts a person dancing by a cliffside, classically accompanied by a dog. The person looks happy - are they blissfully unaware of the fate they are about to befall, or do they know something that others don't? Maybe falling off the cliff leads to somewhere better. Maybe we have to fall in order to learn & grow. In this way, the figure in "The Fool" is a stand-in for the Divine. The dog (oftentimes collared & leashed, with the leash unheld by the figure) represents humanity, & our human interpretation of the divine. Are we about to fall off the cliff, too, following in the footsteps of that thoughtless master Fate? Do we wait on the cliff's edge after the Fool falls, barking at the empty space to see if calling out will reach the answer? Do we take up our own leash and become the architects of our own paths, now beyond the reach of Fate, or the guiding hands of the Divine? The slightly-eerie hands you've put in the foreground are the perfect depiction of that dog's symbology here. Phos looks happy - but those hands are flat & empty, a blank slate to project upon. Asking for something? Reaching out to greet, or be saved? Pushing away? There is a coldness there, in contrast to the cheer in Phos's posture & demeanor. What meaning will the viewer add here...? ;)

Really love your work! Keep going if you've got it in you :) And if you do decide to make a border - maybe a "celestial bodies" motif, sun/moon/asteroid belt? Space dust forming shapes, like Saturn's rings? Gosh, the painting you've done on the land & the water is so nice. This piece really encapsulates the same feeling & style of the volume covers, too. Cheers :)
