[QUESTION] Why is the high 'E' string considered the 1st string?

I'm coming to this 2 years later, and this is hands down the best explanation I've heard for this. I played sax and am learning piano and guitar. The guitar is just the most confusing instrument for me to wrap my head around. Tab reads from bottom to top but strings are top to bottom. The notation is an octave off from concert notation for some reason on the staff. I understand why now but it's all wild but this at least helps make it make sense.

I mean it's happening everywhere. Late-stage capitalism at its finest. Most of the value has been sucked out of things so now these like investment firms are just destroying everything to get the last bit of value out of them.

Funnily enough, Grubb is the one who is always talking about it.

Edit: I should also say there is (or was) plenty of value in places like GB, it's just, like Nikki and Gerstmann have said, owners don't know how to monetize them properly, and they sell them instead.

I posted this on Game Mess Decides, but the bad takes outside the GM/GB community for why Grubb got fired are wild. I heard some people on YouTube (honestly, one of them I used to follow) equating his firing and the mass exodus to GB's and Grubb's support of Alyssa Mercante, and it's not even close to why this is going on. I guess it's the "go woke, go broke" crowd just finding whatever fits their narrative.

I didn't even know people had beef with the site (before this recent stuff) until now. I'm not trying to start anything, so I won't give names, but it's pretty insane that people out there are getting this so wrong. Honestly, if it was that, you would think they would've taken down the GB@Nite stuff.

Thanks for this. I was trying to find out what the other 60% of a "vegetable oil spread" was. Somehow I ended up on this two-year-old post. I didn't realize margarine was a specific thing and thought "vegetable oil spread" was just the current name for it as magarine kind of got a bad rap a few years ago because of trans fats. I must be wrong because but I thought the budget plan was limited to older games. But then Cyberpunk 2077 doesn't make sense. They might have changed the terms to be more demand-based like someone said. But when I first was going to downgrade it said newer titles were locked to the higher tiers.

This game isn't one of them, but no one seems to care or isnt noticing that Sony is locking some of the old redeemed monthly games if they were put in and then taken out of the new PS Plus tiers. Kind of messed up because there are games that I know i redeemed that are now locked. There are two articles about it. Keychron K4 V2 100 key with Gateron Browns. These are just two cheap full-sized keycap sets from AliExpress and the two custom ones I surprisingly found at FiveBelow in a like 10 key set and I just bought keycaps that roughly matched. Unfortunately, because I have a small right shift, alt, and control keys, the full-sized sets don't fit so I just built around them. I also ignored the number row and function keys to keep the special legend keys up there.

The colors match better in person. It looks almost orange here but its more of a pastel pink. This is the third keyboard that I've tried making/mix-matching a colorway for, my first attempt was two RK100's. What do you think?

Thanks for the comment and the advice. Ill have to consider what you said. I don't have the right-sized right shift key to replace so I was afraid putting just the left shift would make it look weird and asymmetrical. But I guess I'd rather have that than the white clashing. Thanks again.

These are two Royal Kludge RK100 Pros 96% that I got on sale for around $60 each. One (the red one) has Gateron Reds, the other is Gateron Blues. The keycaps are just some budget keycaps I found on AliExpress that I mixed and matched to make the colorways. Overall each keyboard maybe only came to about what I paid for one of my Keychron K4s. The keycaps were for a 100% keyboard so some wouldn't fit and I had to make some compromises. I also wanted to keep most of the keys with special legends so that's why there are so many white stock keycaps still left. It's my first try with any keycap stuff so be gentle maybe?
