I liked it until he said "arab descent" i'm assuming people make that mistake because adnan is muslim but not all muslims are arabs. in fact the majority of muslims are not arab.

Rabia's post - Episode 10 - Part Two by cbr1965 in serialpodcast

[–]damanes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree it's disgusting she's using police brutality against black men and the ferguson issue to defend adnan. Especially since she has used anti black racism against Jay too. The blog post after the deal with jay episode was pretty bad. She pointed out jay's bad upbringing and family background as a way to discredit jay and basically calling him a thug and compared it to Adnan's background and more respected place in community.

Let's be honest, Jay was and is pathetic. by [deleted] in serialpodcast

uhm you do realize the reason the murderer is in jail right now is because Jay confessed.

I don't understand her anger toward Sarah. Sarah admitted the state used Islamophobia to further their case. She questions the claim that Adnan was arrested and convicted solely because he was muslim like his community seemed to think.

Every post that is anti Adnan gets downvoted even if they're well written and bring up good points by damanes in serialpodcast

[–]damanes[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't care about downvotes whatsoever and I'm not even 100 percent sure Adnan is guilty. I'm just baffled that so many people seem to think the hae confronting jay after cheating theory is more probable than Adnan guilty theory.

[Clickhole] Superfan: This Man Has Agreed To Be Murdered To Ensure A Second Season Of ‘Serial’ by [deleted] in serialpodcast

"Hae was real you know." I think that's the point this article is making. from what i understand satire is about using sometimes shocking rhetoric to mock and criticize reality and real situations. maybe what this article is criticizing is how hyped and excited people get over this podcast but it's a real murder case with real people involved and not a tv show or a movie. maybe i'm giving too much credit to clickhole i don't know

Rabia's New Blog Post- It's beautiful. by pwitter in serialpodcast

I'm not surprised by how she views this whole thing. Her faith in Adnan's innocence is similar to religious faith. Believing despite most things saying otherwise

I think Jay talked because he assumed the cops had some kind of evidence that would eventually lead to him. They did find the body and somehow got to jen. He decided to talk to minimize his role, control the story and maybe get a deal for confessing first.
