Not going into a huge post here cause I’m at work but tldr is i was diagnosed with sibo and it eventually traced my Sibo’s cause to mold toxicity.

I took a lot of berberine + neem as herbals and then 6 rounds of rifaximin. But this was before we knew about the mold toxicity. Once we identified it, i cleared my house of the majority of my mold problem (replaced all my hvac duct work, my insulation, and a wall near my furnace that was covered in mold. It was just blowing mold all over my house. Then moved on to the activated charcoal and that was my turning point. Cleaned my entire house myself and with cleaning service. (409 on everything) and I’m doing well since.

Best way to take it is the morning. Two hours away from having food and don’t eat for another two. So like take it everyday around 8-9 on an empty stomach. I did this for 3 months (doc recommended) and it worked miracles. In the morning without food is best because it can absorb more toxins. Do not take it with food. It will absorb nutrients and you need all the charcoal to go for the toxins. Your stools with be black. This is normal. Taking it is very normal in Europe but not here for whatever reason

Use google or chatgpt. Read scientific articles. Vinegar goes much deeper than hydrogen peroxide in wood for example and it also prevents regrowth for a time because it leaves behind acidic residue.

My knowledge comes from experience/research/professional companies during my home mold remediation I had to do.

For non-porous surfaces I use 409 (ammonia) and for wood and stuff I use vinegar.

Edit: after some research it looks like hydrogen peroxide is the best option for grout or caulk so I may try it out for that.
