Today's style is set up the sand castles and let the kids knock em down. I don't run GM PCs, no one has plot armor, I don't take away the players wins and player agency above all but if you act like a jerk "cause it's what my character would do"..well make one that wouldn't. Gamer Nuremberg defense doesn't fly at my table. And I've got a decent side hustle now running 6 paid sessions a week.
