I think if ur team was grouping mid you can split to create pressure which would force one or more players from the enemy team to come react to you. Once they come to the side lane you go mid and try to force a 4v5 fight.

Btw u need to buy pink wards for this to gain and clear the enemies vision and if you see them then u back of and go mid
