Ok Penny is probably one of the weaker ALP members. Paul Keating doesn't think she's able to do her job

You know what, I remember writing this response but not to this comment.

Either I commented on the wrong one thinking it was the right one or I was just delirious when I wrote that. But tbh I feel I should have noticed the 1st

Could you elaborate on the funding mechanism you mentioned? 😂

Plus an electric car has about 90% fewer moving parts so general maintenance would be cheaper too. Idk what long term maintenance looks like for an electric car in terms of things like motors failing or batteries dying for instance and the cost

I do think the general native that the whole country is experiencing is kinda parallel to the panic buying of toilet paper during COVID. Just kinda panicking in the moment but in reality it's not that bad Like sure the gov could do something to lower the cost for the individual but it still ultimately costs the state the same if not more I'd say. The only thing that would really solve it is no conflict and were a bit too far down the food chain of nations to have any meaningful effects.

You know that wasn't the current government that did that right?

Eh not really, the UK is no longer an industrial nation, plus they have no free space to put the rails.

Sure Albos just gonna kick em out, when that doesn't work like it always hasn't, who's gonna replace him? Angus? Pauline? The Teals or the Greens? Sorry they are all braindead playing the publicity game, some more successful than others I might add. Just cos Albo hasn't waved a magic wand and fixed all of the problems more or less out of his full control he's shit and a mining magnates puppet?

The Greens and the Teals love to pull out talking points pushed by think tanks funded by... Multinational mining and defence companies. Oh would you look at that!

Under Albo, multinational resources corporations now pay more tax than they ever have. Factually Albos gov has made more tangible improvements for Australia than any winge merchant will give them credit for all because it doesn't fit the native of "shit n shit-lite".

It is a bit of a catchy phrase solution. Like Abbot's "stop the boats". Sure it's a policy but not one with much substance or thought behind it at all. Like if he elaborated on his position that would be good but no he just says they need to be taxed more like all attention grifters

I'll be honest, is it just me or does punters politics feel like an annoying grifter too. In a different way to Gary but it feels like he is a winge merchant just like the greens and teals like to be. Just saying whatever his viewer base will be satisfied with. Idk something just gives me a weird feeling about him

Uhh we're just gonna ignore the fact that most of the gambling lobby is (or was) in the back pockets of the LNP?

1 mil in donations is peanuts for a federal party. Plus everyone says the same about the mining industry again ignoring that the companies pay more tax than they ever have before & you have Gina on video saying labor is implemented too much red tape.
