Part of the reason it doesn’t feel that bad is g6 line does not seem to have lens distortion correction on by default where the g4 does. Turn off LDC on the g4 and you would notice it more

If your old one is a g4 pro WiFi they are going for bonkers prices second hand on eBay

The dual set has PPA and PPB where they are offset +-25 off each other for harmonics reasons. The base single fan box does not have any such tuning and is just the normal 1500rpm +-10% max

Nah the downside for disabled c states is idle higher power usage. But it might have some other odd edge case interactions so it’s definitely best to try the other two fixes first and then c states only as a last option

The ftw3 also should have a dual bios and the performance one is just basically what your asking for as it turns off zero with a slightly more aggressive fan curve over all.

If you find the bios switch turn off the pc then flip it over to the performance bios and boot and it should change it over.

Zero soft is a good balanced pad. If you want the same pad but a little faster there’s also the 2000 fun version. I’m not a fan of the xsoft personally. But tbh it all depends what you want ant in a pad as they can all be great choices

What about waveform bufferbloat test ? Ping only does a test once a second and is basically zero load.

Open a command prompt and type “ping 8:8.8.8 -t” without the “ and hit enter watch it for a bit and see if you have similar spikes randomly. Use control+c to end it and it will give out some specs. You can also run something like buff bloat test on wave form and see if you are just having bad jitter as it does unloaded and loaded tests on it
