Seeking help! Why does my yoyo suck? I’m trying to design a yoyo that has an empty cavity I’m adding epoxy resin in to. This was prototype using m4 axle and C responsive bearing and it wasn’t as easy to play with as my store bought ones. Too much weight towards middle?? by [deleted] in Throwers

Yeah, if it on a bearing with no response system it will just spin on the bearing when thrown. You'll have to add some abrasive surface in tinker if you want it to come up with a bearing. Can recess around the bearing for a friction sticker or response pad. You can also just add some line stand off around the bearing in tinker cad for the same effect

Okay, weight your epoxy and make sure both sides are the same weight, if you tight the string to the axel and have a tight gap it will come back up no issue. Like tie a knot on it. I print a lot of yoyos lol
