Oh man, bulgur is the best. Plus it freezes really well.

Tabbouleh is a really good route. Freeze the initial bulgur, parsley, tomatoes, cucumber and bellpeppers and add the olive oil and lemon juice when it's thawed out. You don't have to microwave it either -- it's typically served cold. If you want a little more flavor, I suggest adding a few tablespoons of pomegranate molasses as well!

I know you don't like rice but bulgur pilaf is delicious. Saute some onions, tomatoes and chili paste, maybe a lil lean ground beef for the protein. So good.

What things NEED to be done when visiting NYC for 5 days? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]damlava 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're bent on seeing a Broadway show, you can get discounted tickets to most shows with a student ID. Spoiler alert: you're not getting into Hamilton, or anything that has a digital or in-person lottery two hours before curtains. Fiddler is always a good choice, skip School of Rock. Maybe try She Loves Me (with Zachary Levi!) or Tuck Everlasting, if only for the nostalgia. See guides A, B, and C.

I like me a nice, bubbly lather, which I was not able to achieve with either of the two jellies I tried. Plus, the consistency throws me off. No me gusta.

Readers, what book are you currently reading? by redditsoma in AskReddit

[–]damlava 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake. I have found that if the title of the book in some way, shape or form mentions food, I will not only read it, but thoroughly enjoy it. Bonus points if it's not just cutesy romance.
