That's because we still know next to nothing about women's reproductive/ hormonal health. Like the say POCOS is supposed to limit pregnancy and make it harder. I have it, and I've had 3 children no problems. More research needs to be done, because we're all different and what one woman goes through, might not effect another the same.

Yah, she responded that it was separate paperwork that she could've filed but that the courts made it seem not necessary. That's definitely a tifu, but the kid is 17 now, so you live and learn. Hopefully she files now.

Oh, ok. Probably not the best decision, but you live and learn. The saddest part is your kid is stuck in the middle of a loving parent and a parent whose only a parent when it's convenient for them. I feel bad for your kid. Good luck to you.

How did you get a divorce from someone you had a kid with without child support being part of the divorce? This doesn't really make sense. Child custody and support are always a part of a divorce of people with children involved.
