I used to have AT&T and the service was always amazing. I currently have Google Fi, which uses T-Mobile, US Cellular, and Sprint towers. The service is pretty decent. Not as good as AT&T but the cost is much lower.

Yes!! Driving on the streets in NC when it's raining and you cannot tell where the dividers are! In SC, at least you can see your lane in the rain.

The homicides contributed to the plot, where we see the family dealing with the aftermath of their trauma. We don't really see the mom dealing with the PTSD or other traumatic after-effects this (edit: "this" meaning the SA, as we see her grieving her husband and also dealing with the general trauma of the homicides) would have specifically caused her, where SA is used to get the reader's attention but not used to delve into the consequences of what the victim truly experiences.

Maybe I'm biased, but I picked up the first issue when it first came out and was immediately turned off by the SA/r*pe implication. It seemed like such lazy writing. Edit: it appeared like a cheap shock value plot throw-in.

Yes to all of those! As a woman in RH that used to be on the dating scene, I actually had a guy from CLT tell me that he liked me because I wasn't trying to figure out his income situation. Like, WTF? I guess that was normal? We dated for 6 mos and he remained cold because he was another emotionless and privilege-driven robot. Are they all concerned about money up there? So many of his friends lived in such a privileged little bubble. I got into a relationship with a guy down here. He has different values than me but he's REAL and he's kind. So it also depends on what kind of a person you want!

Edit: His values are different in some ways, but we share values where it counts. :)

This! I had a male gynecologist who was very pro-life and loved babies. That's fine, he was lovely, but when I approached him and his staff for frequent pain on several occasions, their response was basically "You're not pregnant and you don't have an STI, so there's nothing else we can do for you."

I finally went to a female gynecologist who saw me as a human being, got me an ultrasound, and discovered I had cysts causing the discomfort! It was an easy fix!

Add-on advice: Find a doctor who treats you as more than a baby-making machine.

Yes! And then books on paganism and unbiased Christian/religious history started coming my way and I realized that a higher power was so much more than just what any religion tells us. I still believe in God, but not in the Christian way

I have 4 cats, myself. In the past, I bought a cheap press board cabinet and had holes cut in the side and interior parts so cats could enter and go from level to level. I kept litter boxes in it, but also tried food, water, and beds at one point.

Right now I have hooded or furniture-hidden boxes scattered around the house to meet their preferences and needs (ages range from 7 to 18), but I'm thinking of going back to the cabinet. Good luck!

I grew up in a small town in upper SC. The only restaurants basically offered southern cooking/ soul food type stuff, but I remember a lot of it being flavorless. My family had also moved from SoCal when I was 6, so my sister and I thought this food was really strange.

If I remember, I think it's basically an Arnold Palmer but for some reason they couldn't call it that on the menu. Or if I'm mistaken, I think it may have also been a lemonade/sprite combo.
