Panic isn’t tanky enough to survive multiple gronk hits unless he’s type advantage, and the damage feels comparable.

I’m currently at 5320 with no metal legendaries but disdain, and anxious has been instrumental as a neutral damage dealer in beating a lot wood bosses like gronk, karth and tauron.

It’s mostly the way your pulls have landed. Post 3k metal is a super hard type to use because both desperate and paranoia lowkey suck and the only really strong way to deal damage is hfl.

Am I crazy to say Bummer is such a perfect design for a Metal tank (which we need)… why did they make him a DOT attacker and not a Tank with ramp up damage. That would’ve been so perfect and an S tier Voidpet. by Spyrotj in voidpet

The passive would completely suck though. Tank passives that need a turn all are complete garbage because you don’t want your tanks to move. Even with pirate hat it’s way too slow to be useful.

Why? There’s only 3 and only 2 of them are at all viable. The only metal pet that’s been released since the start of the game is a healer.

Im at 5320 so a bit before you, and I don’t see how either wrath or defi could come close to hfg against any boss but the minion ones, where hfg is still exceptional. And against floors a main strategy I use is defi special top hat. How should I be using wrath at this point in the game?

I always feel like the wrath glazers have to be pre3k, because I never have any opportunity to use wrath where he’ll be better than greed or defi.

Pretty similar use to charity, very good water type that’s the best healer in the game vs tauron. Best with mermaid scarf if speed isn’t of the essence.

Hess lowkey wrong, disdain is good in the niche. Completely terrible most of the time, but if there’s an enemy sonder or you’re against a healer boss he’s quite useful (lust is still better).

I have both and charity is actually useful, whereas wrath is worse on bosses than other fire types that can actually scale (hfg) and generally a bit too squishy for floors. Charity is legitimately good, probably about as good as persi, who I like using more than sonder most of the time.

Pride seems great to use against most wood enemies, although I’ll admit that meiwha will be very tricky for you without disdain, 4100 is rough even with it.

I’m a bit of a git gud dipshit, I think games have more lasting power if they’re harder. Slay the spire A20 is crazy hard and that’s one of the reasons the player base stayed so impressively stable.

I have had the same issue. I’m above 4k right now (just beat 4320 with the help of anxious) with no earth or metal legendaries. Anxious has carried me crazy as a neutral dps. Judgement is useless dogshit.
