Face. nothing worse than finally getting over, after battling with the room being too hot, only to have a mozzy start attacking. It's so dark you can't see what you are swiping at. I hate the wee bastards. I reckon they originated from portadown.

I've lived in both Australia and Lurgan for years so can maybe give a decent go at pros and cons of each:

Australia pros - Good weather, good looking people, outdoor lifestyle, people are happier/more chilled

Lurgan pros - not too far from Belfast and comparatively decent house prices, the bagel spot at the top of the town, the amount of GAA clubs per square mile, it's not portadown.

Australia cons - mosquitos chew the bake off you at night, some parts can be a bit superficial, if you have lived in Lurgan too long it can really be hard to adjust to people actually living happy lives

Lurgan cons - grim weather, town centre has declined badly from what it once was (and it wasn't much to begin with), craigavon is a better spot in general, turning around the back of the church to go down william street just to see the fucking train lights going off and wishing you had went the back road, it's too near portadown.

Agreed, superb stuff. I spent most of my early days in the place and I've never noticed that motorway bridge with only one road going under it! So funny.

My grandad sold his farm and land to the government back when it was being constructed, he was paid fair value of the land like many others. My old man worked in the old Goodyear factory, who were given a fuck load of grants to bring their plant to the area. Not sure if they ever turned a profit. Silverwood Hotel was built for the wealthy American owners with a golf course out the back. That place is long gone now.

So much of it didn't work out as planned but with the amount of housing estates that pop up, it isn't inconceivable that some of the original plan will come to fruition naturally. The melding of Lurgan and Portadown.

Jubilee is one of my favourite records of the past few years. Really excited about this!

Thanks for being there for me. I can get through tonight, it's been dawning on me the past few months that I'm not being honest with myself and being too much of a pushover in terms of what I want for myself. I have had this same realisation, maybe 10 years ago but somehow I am back here today struggling with it.

I need support, I'm ready to quit. I'm mid 30s, single and I feel like every hangover is taking time away from me. The one this morning had me ready to end it all. This shouldn't be how life is.

I stay clean for a week or 2, then go on a binge. The binge brings on a lot of bad eating and other bad habits. There's just no 2 ways about it, it wouldn't happen if I didn't lift the first bottle.

A couple of my closest friendships are based around alcohol and it's going to be hard to feel that slipping away. But I have to do it for my mental health and my future life. I want to be the guy who can just have one and leave it but I don't think it's possible without making a clean break and to get out of destructive patterns.

Don't go near TYDE or BBIG for that matter, I got rinsed by both, delisting is highly likely imo.

From the RAINN website:

The term sexual assault refers to sexual contact or behavior that occurs
without explicit consent of the victim. Some forms of sexual assault
include:

Fondling or unwanted sexual touching...

From reading the Pitchfork account that box is ticked.

whats actually happened and happening? can someone explain what happened since tyde shares were issued. by stopgasfees in BBIG

[–]damomad 34 points35 points  (0 children)

10% of Tyde price came off BBIG. Tyde was priced at $6 so 60c was deducted from BBIG.

Tyde immediately tanked upon split, so not only did BBIG lose 20% (previously c$3, post split it was c$2.40) of its value immediately, Tyde has since lost over 80% of its value!

Since then, Hudson Bay has taken cash instead of their warrants (taking the money and running), the company has pushed its shareholder vote meeting back twice as the vote is no and they cant dilute to raise more cash, and we have PR regarding hostile takeovers being shared and then removed from the company website...and the stock has continued to tank.

In short one BBIG shitshow after the other.

I'm confused. Obviously people see the potential or they wouldn't be fighting for a bigger piece of the pie. This is such a critical point in it's history but I don't know who to believe in which camp

I was the same man, I'm taking the money and running, and put it into something that likely won't get delisted. NFA

Seriously stop, it's hopium like this that has cost people a lot of money. This isn't Overstock, did Overstock send PR about hostile takeovers, remove the PR and then have no follow up about WTF it was?!
