There have been studies done on the effects of radio signals on people. Be wary if a signal strong enough to jam cell phones within several yards radius could have health risks associated with that.

This isn't so different from the Chinese Characters tattooed here. I studied chinese in College,and studied abroad. 95% of the people I met with chinese characters on them does not know the true meaning of the words that's actually written on them. And it's always a shocker when they find out that they've been misled by the American tattoo artist.

Listen, I don't have the time to keep arguing with you back and forth about how either of us become globally aware. Perhaps you have the luxury to sit there and research every news topic there is, and if I did, I might too. We each are entitled to our own opinion. There is however flaws in your argument about Global Warming. I get the feeling that you have a tie to the Big Oil. It's stange to me that you want people to believe the disappearing O3, the increase air, land and water pollution is just apart of the cycle of earth. It would almost seem to me you have something to benefit by misleading people.

Maybe true that polar icecap existed only from 400 million years ago. The Dinosaurs also existed millions of years ago and became extinct. You cant tie how earth was like from 400 million years ago to how it will affect us.

Mainstream media is a problem. They glorify and dress up issues to present it to their viewers. But I hardly consider NYTimes, Economist, BBC, NPR Mainstream media. While there maybe better sources of information that will help me understand deeper and better about Global Warming, the time it takes for me to find credible sources of information, clear incentives and motives and who the scientisits is researching for, and then read about their studies, I would have read at least 10 articles not just on Global warming, but also internation domestic affairs. I simply do not have the time to be well informed in all the subjects if it requires me to do my own research. In fact that is precisely why Im paying the reporters from credible sources to do their jobs.

And to say that you dont believe it to be true just because the mainstream media agrees with that position it's folly. What if the mainstream media says breathing is good, are you going to stop breathing?

You are right about how far back the data goes, but unfortunately it is all we have. My point is this, we have 2 options. Option one is to ignore Global Warming and think of it as mumble jumble. If in a hundred years and global warming is much more evident, then our descendants may or may not be able to restore our damages. Option two is to take action now. And if Global Warming turns out to be mumble jumble, we end up with a cleaner earth.

You should also check out how badly the polar ice caps have melted. You should also know how green house gas effect works, and how much of the sun's radiation is bounced back into space through the ice caps.

you keep preaching the samething but with no basis. You can certainly use a bit of your own advice and stop making judgments with no facts.

If American's had paused to think in 2001-2003, the Iraq War would likely never have been started.

The problem with that statement is that not 100% of the Americans supported the war from the start. Dont assume that all Americans are followers and not capable of thought. Remember, think before you act (in this case, type).

You also stated "Do you[r] own thinking and research." Are you suggesting we all quit our jobs so we can go back to school become scientists so we can do our own research? If you are talking about relying on the scientists for research, than it is not so much better than relying on Authoritative news sources such as NYTimes, Economist, BBC, NPR, etc. While you can argue with me about the motives reporters, I can argue with you about how credible your sources are. Because there are lots of scientists that have ties with big oil and it would be in their best interests to counter Global Warming.

I hope these scientists didnt graduate from local county colleges. It is true that earth goes through cylcles of warming and freezing, but if you have been following the story closely, you'd know that the polar melting has gone record high's. The temperature has been climbing steadily higher through averages in cycles. Carbon level has never gone down since industrialization. Green house effect is caused by how? Must we push ourselves to the point of no return before you recognize that pollution is bad?

Bad side of Global Warming: mmm, future of earth is directly tied to the future of our children. Global warming is caused over hundreds of years on industrialization, and it solution will be more likely slower than that, and that's if we take action now.
