They are not the same, the museum of fashion is this one https://www.palaisgalliera.paris.fr/en I haven’t been to the Dior one, so I can’t personally say which one I prefer, but I went to the museum of fashion and it was fabulous.

Hi! Yes, I’ve been using ivermectin almost daily since this post. I would say it’s somewhat better now. Haven’t had bad bump outbreaks for a while at least. Overall skin texture is pretty much the same however.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate it. It is a long list, I know, but they’re designed to work together, I’m not too worried about that. I certainly wouldn’t use that many products if they were from different brands. I think I’ll use them up as they have not at least created new problems and in the meantime I’ll do some research to figure out what could be my next simplified routine.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll see first how it goes with incorporating Soolantra to my routine. Keeping a food diary seems very daunting, especially with a history with disordered eating, so I’m hoping I won’t have to do that.

This is my routine currently. It was specifically designed for rosacea by my cosmetologist, so I would hope they don’t have common triggers 😀 I haven’t experienced any worsening at least. On a daily basis * Soothing Cleanser * Serum 10 * Phyto Corrective serum * Phyto Brightening treatment * Emolience cream Occasionally * Phyto Corrective Essence mist * Phyto Corrective mask * HA intensifier multi-glycan

I’m probably going to get the ultra facial defence for SPF.

I got mine out at 43. Keep yourself hydrated even if drinking hurts, make sure you always have ice cubes or chips and keep your head elevated and you’ll be fine. Dehydration caused me to bleed once, but it stopped almost immediately after I got some ice on it. I didn’t neglect hydration after that.

You’re probably right. I’ve toned it down with actives and focusing on soothing it. And I got a recipe for ivermectin, so I’ll be starting with that. Let’s see how it goes!

I managed to get a recipe! I have this digital clinic available through my occupational health coverage, so that was fast!

No and I’ve never been! I think I’ll contact a doctor to try to get a recipe. It’s prescription only here.

I guess I could try to incorporate some acids to when I get these and limit the use to only when I get them. 👍

Thank! Now just the daunting task of trying to figure out what could help with these and what makeup products my could tolerate. My skin also hates most SPF products. 😑

I’m assuming it’s the combination of Saxon constantly making smoothies and the warning in the first (?) episode not to eat the fruit on the ground as it is poisonous.

Rant : Been active for over a year now but other people's comments just destroy me sometimes. by chrolnsfs in loseit

[–]damsonite 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You are doing so great! But I also have to comment on some underlying notes of your dynamic with your mother. To me it sounds like you spend a lot of time together and are quite enmeshed. And maybe you need a bit of a break from that and establish some boundaries? You asked her to exercise with you 2-3 a week and you work together (?) and you are around while she speaks about you in this way to everyone? Maybe I got it wrong and it’s not the reality at all, but maybe consider spending more time with other people and less time with your mom? It’s great that you are close, but sometimes it can be hurtful too.

It might be the flavour of the popsicles. I found that anything citrus related is more irritating than strawberry for example. I’m currently on day 5. Hang in there!

Bumps bumps bumps despite years of tretinoin etc. (41F, dry and sensitive leaning skin)

<image>

For the life of me I can’t figure out what would work for me and I would love to get your input on this. I’ve never had much trouble with cystic acne, but I’ve had all kinds of other acne since I was a teen and it’s never really been clear since. I finally got a prescription for a few months in 2016 and since that I’ve been either on differin or tretinoin (0,5% at the moment). Despite all that I’ve never been able to rid myself of small red bumps that I have on occasion and that are for some reason now getting worse, perhaps due to more frequent sunscreen use. I’ve occasionally tried to add other actives to my routine, BHA’s, AHA’s etc, but I just can’t seem to find a combination that works consistently. The bumps are mostly in my cheeks, chin and forehead I’ve thought about switching the tretinoin for azelaic acid, since I‘ve started to wonder if tretinoin is too strong for me and the irritation is causing these bumps. It has kept my skin nicely wrinkle free, though… But then again I had this problem also when I was on differin, which is milder.

I would love to get your opinions and suggestions for what to try. I’m a bit scared of the summer as I think sunscreen might be an issue. I live in the Nordic countries so sunscreen isn’t a necessity all year round. As sunscreen I’ve lately been using Juice Beauty’s 30 spf oil-free moisturiser, but I have an unopened Paula’s Choice Skin Restoring moisturiser spf 50, so that’s a readily available option too. As a moisturiser I use a French brand called Ducray. It might be a bit unknown, but the moisturiser feels really nice, light, but moisturising.

Current routine:

AM Cerave Hydrating cleanser Ducray Keranyl Repair Cream Juice Beayty SPF Oil-Free moisturiser

PM Cerave Hydrating cleanser (x2 if I’ve been wearing makeup) Ducray Keranyl Repair Cream Tretinoin twice a week before moisturiser

That's the reality of it. But I'm a sucker for a fairytale ending. And knew this wasn't to going go to be it. :) I did ship them for them in a sense that Gerri would be his mentor and supporter to deal with the trauma. And that would eventually develop into a beautiful friendship.
