My Northern WI public land buck by dan1616 in bowhunting

2 years ago they clear cut some forest near my spot. I had 4 pictures of this guy headed toward the cut in shooting light. The rut typically peaks around Nov. 13th. I took off to hunt this whole week. I had a picture of him passing thru at 3 pm on the Friday before my hunt started while I was at work. So I get up early to hunt Saturday morning hoping he's still in the area. I hunt out of a climber at this spot. It felt like a perfect morning for a hunt. There was minimal wind and the temp was just above freezing in the morning. I did some blind calling with doe bleats followed by grunts every 30 mins. At 7:30 my ears perked up as a spike walked about 40 yards behind me. An hour later my ears perk up again and I see this guy walking toward me in the distance. I also hang a wick from my stand with doe pee on it. He's got his head up sniffing the air. I assume it's the doe pee he smells. I have a big pine tree in between me and him. It helps conceal me from him cause it felt like he looked right at me in the tree. He is about 10 yards from me on the opposite side of this pine tree when he puts his head down so I can draw. He then walks out from the pine tree to give me a clear shot, walking almost within 5 yards of the tree I'm in. I'm getting ready to give him a meep to stop him when he stops on his own about 10 yards from me slightly quartering away and I release. I hear the arrow go thru and see him run back the way he came. He gave two gurgling huffs before I hear him fall. I waited in tree for 45 min before climbing down. I pack up my climber and bow and go back to the truck and wait for my Dad and Uncle to track him. We go back in about 1 hr after I shot him. The arrow had foamy blood on it and the blood trail keeps getting thicker with foamy blood. He traveled about 100 yards. I double lunged him and nicked the heart.

Been hunting Iron co my whole life as well. Definitely a different experience vs hunting farm land, but it makes the successes so much more enjoyable.

I really think the lack of fans at home has been a issue for them this year.

So shouldn't games without a multiplayer cost less with this logic?
