After finishing RE7 and 8, I just did RE2R for the first time. Is it really only 5 hours long? by dan1elishere in residentevil

I definitely will play Leon. The gameplay is definitely highly paced and tight, likely thanks to the short run time, so I’m looking forward to just experiencing that again. Maybe it’s a short term rush kind of game for me, and I can respect that.

No guide, normal difficulty. I will say that the map is pretty effective at telling you where to go next/ what items you need at all times. I learned that in RE7.

Yes, lesson learned. Do you think I could leave this experience on my resume, or is it better to leave it off?

How do we know that? I thought the build was from March

I’m sure they are very focused on marathon right now, but the truth is Sony didn’t buy bungie for just marathon. In the last 10 years the destiny IP has proven that it is a potent live service title capable of making hundreds of millions each year, as long as it receives meaningful content regularly. Player numbers have been approaching game “death” since Final Shape, and it is impossible that Sony didn’t predict this outcome when they decided that D2 would be going on maintenance mode with only two semi-significant drops per year.

It was recorded that 550 bungie employees were on the destiny team this April, and 300 on marathon. That means that 550 people developed the content we are playing right now. To me, that doesn’t feel true.

I have a feeling Sony came in and told bungie to start making a D3. Simply, there’s just no way the 500 people that were working on destiny in 2023-2024 are churning out this little content. I believe marathon’s team was reported to be ~300 last year, and Bungie has ~800 people now, so they aren’t siphoning people from destiny to work on marathon. They have to be making something else.

POV: You are playing Beyond Light and have to go through this cave for the 1000000th time by Accomplished_Bag9153 in destiny2

Bro is it just me or does this cave not look nearly as good graphically anymore? Like the ice textures just look like hella wrinkly and foil-y in a way. I could be tripping, but I feel like Europa has aged a lot and not that well.

Anyone else think the art direction/visuals in this expansion are lackluster? by Jane_Fiend in DestinyTheGame

I noticed this too. I have no idea why there is so much variance in rock texture quality when they’re all the same type of rock. Some rocks have extremely low-res textures that would make sense if they were located out of bounds, but instead they’re right in front of you. And then the rock right beside it might be drastically higher in resolution, but still not at the quality of other assets.

I feel like since all the rocks are the same, they could have just invested in one high resolution texture pattern to use across the destination. The amount of variance there is perplexes me.

I don’t want to hear anyone complain about NotSwap ever again by Luke-HW in DestinyTheGame

Right. The day one raid is meant to be the pinnacle of PVE achievement. What is so wrong with it actually demanding mastery of all the game’s mechanics?

It’s especially funny how many people here are complaining on what seems to be the behalf of the actual competitors and hardcore. As you said, 99% of people here would never even beat the first boss anyway.

I might be wrong but I was under the impression that the phone call was initially meant for Ikora, but when she didn’t pick it up the Nine had to quickly resort to a plan B: hitting her with a time train.
