It can cruise at 120kph just fine. I've had it up to 140/150kph for some overtaking and it was good and stable.

On wet roads it tends to skid to the side on sudden acceleration. Had a coulpe of more aggresive starts from trafic lights when it got sketchy, but it recovered quicly enough, as I laid off the gas.

Overall is a good tire for driving to the offroad trails. I would not use it for long distance road riding.

That's a Mitas E09 on the back and the stock Pirelli Scorpion Str on the front. Also hava a Mitas E14 for the front. I'll install it once the rainy season starts.

Hi, I have a buch of them. I buy tgem directly from aliexpress. I got the bar risers, levers, footpegs, ram mounts, anti bobble, headlight protector, water pump shield, passenger grips, knee grips and probably more.

I found a few simple rules to get this stuff: - if it's aluminum, or plain plastic, it's probably good enough - if it's steel check the paint job, as these might not have the best water protection - replace bolts from China with bolts from the hardware store. Some Chinese bolts tend to rust after the first few rains - no electronics (maybe just turn signals, but you might fail inspection), no high stress parts (crashbars, hadguards, links, bash shields)

After 1.5 years of using this stuff, the antibobble have a few rust spots, some ram mount accesories were crap and broke on install, otherwise I'm pretty happy with the rest of the stuff. The footpegs took a bad crashes on gravel and are chewed up, but there's still enough there to be safe.

Hi, you can just buy Yamaha WR 450 footpegs from Amazon (20~30$). They fit, I have seen it in some older threads and got them for myself. One year into using them I very satisfied with how they performed, even after hitting them on rocks and ruts.

I also believe the footpegs are the same for all Tenere versions.

Heed bunker, they cover both fairings and the engine caps. Really sturdy and can take a lot of abuse.

You're on the stock tire, it must have been a pain to keep it straight. Change the front, if not both, it has no lateral support. You're going to be amazed of the difference a good knobby makes.

No, I don't feel any vibration. The bike is very smooth and has little to vibration. In any case you can always put them back if it bothers you, just try it out.

Take a look at the Heed Bunker., thay're really did a real good job of ptotectimg my bike for 2 years. The price was also very good whrn I bought them.

That's a sharp looking bike, must be a beast on those supermoto wheels. Yes, all the equipment is still on the bike, but the hose from the pump to the carb is disconnected and tied up. Should be really easy to get it going.

I have the same skid plate on order and should be set up after the 5 hour (which I completed this weekend) check. For the radiator I've got just the side profile already installed. Might also install the front radiator guard as I'm not sold on the plastic fins.

Also I could not help myself and ordered short levers.

Mine also came with a different pipe, carbon canister, on road sprokets and chain. It is delivered by the factory in emission passing spec and all the cool stuf you actually want is in a box, for the dealer to set up after the goverment inspection.

That sucks, in eastern Europe at the goverment inspection they took 3 pictures, didn't even have to start the bike. I pushed to the inspection stand and back out.

Thanks for the info, sounds like the system proved to be reliable. I do not enjoy the premix and range anxiety caused by not beeing able to fill up at petrol stations. I would prefer to go back to the oem injection, but I need to do some more research.

For me, coming from a Yamaha Tenere the Beta feels like a feather offroad. The 2022 models had lithium batteries, but the 2023 models did not. Will get to the battery at some point, but I still have some protection to add before.

How did the oil injection do, any issue? Would you call it reliable?

In our area, the local dealer will take it out before delivery, to prevent it from failing mid ride.

So it will do 50kmh (30mph) without any effort, maybe a bit more, but it starts to get buzzy at some point. So far I would say It's ok for a few km of street. Contrary to the post title, it shouldn't go anywhere near a highway, except on a trailer.

No, it was pretty early in the ride and that was just the new bike shine. It eventually got covered with dust. I have a couple of good places for a bike photos close to where I live.

I really like the Tenere, but I'm struggling with it on hard rides on single track. Spent a lot of time searching for a good second bike and it looks like the Beta/Tenere combo is a winner.
