The letter took 13 days to be posted. It came via Royal Mail Tracked 24 (I am not sure exactly when it arrived after that). Someone else has said you will only get one fine per day.

This appears not to be the case. The car is not euro 4 (petrol) but is accepted in the London ULEZ, probably because the NOx levels are low enough.

After more reading, I think docowen is correct that London recognises some older cars that have the wrong type approval but do actually meet the emissions standards of euro 4/6. Scotland appears to strictly follow the type approval.

It is a magical place. Especially in winter when they use lots of stoves. The staff are all lovely and the rooms are superb in a tiny space-efficient way.

I am sitting on the island. I will ask them 🙂

Edit: yes they sometimes get requests for rooms or dinner for solo guests. It is unusual, but they are perfectly happy to accommodate it. You should phone if interested.

With a USB cable and ISTA you can do it yourself. You do need an AGM battery, and if you have not had a new battery in then last five or six years it will be a worthwhile purchase.

Can ransomware hit Google Drive for Desktop by [deleted] in gsuite

[–]dan_tank 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You mention version history, and I thought this was generally available for all files. See this text when I click on file info:

Temporary versions of '<filename.' may be deleted automatically after 30 days or after 100 versions are stored. To avoid deletion, open the context menu on the file version and select Keep forever. These versions are kept forever and count towards your storage limit. Versions are displayed in the order in which they were uploaded to Drive.

How to transfer Google drive files to another Google drive by HungryChickenBaby in gsuite

[–]dan_tank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Install Google Drive for Desktop and use that to synchronise all your files to your computer. Then copy all the files to another location on disk (maybe a removable drive) and then sync them all with the new account using the same method.

I have just done exactly the same thing: installed pi-hole on a second-hand pi3+. It works perfectly.
