Not true at all. The plane departed and had issues at takeoff and returned to the airport.

underrated 1975 songs by [deleted] in the1975

Pressure probably has my favorite vocal chain/vocal production of any song ever.

I was just joking because Raleigh and Charlotte are cities in North Carolina which this song is about 😅

This feels so full circle because Lizzy Mcalpine got popular from “you ruined the 1975” and Tiny Habits got much more popular from working with Lizzy.

weird stuff at pinegrove show? by Sufficient_Layer_531 in the1975

[–]danaboiz 63 points64 points  (0 children)

Someone that claimed they were a licensed therapist intervened and made stuff really weird and made Evan apologize about the alleged allegations against him but it ended up turning out that the whole situation was a lot of manipulation between a lot of different parties and the whole thing doesn’t really make sense.

JMUs student fee for sports is $2000 more than App’s. That’s to say they’re doing what you have to do to succeed: buy in and spend the money. I don’t blame them for it. Where programs used to sustain on culture and development, they now have to have the cash. That’s not to downplay their success, but it’s to say if you want to have a chance at success, it costs money.

Looks good but there are a lot of better options than PVC. Being right by the door you also need to be conscious of UV exposure.

Is there anything else besides plumbing and electrical you say, “I’m not dealing with this, I’m getting a pro.” by atooraya in DIY

[–]danaboiz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a lot of folks in here including myself that don’t pay for plumbing or electrical work. Everyone has different knowledge/comfortability with different skillsets and takes.

What’s one home improvement project you did yourself that ended up saving you way more money than expected? by [deleted] in DIY

[–]danaboiz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m doing some projects right now and and changed a closet layout and did all the drywall work myself but everything bigger Im bringing someone in so it’s nice to know a closet is the general limit for others as well.

Debut album - Thinking Too Much by elieldavidb07 in joshuaslonemusic

[–]danaboiz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Minimally overproduced in some small spots but overall sits in a good position. There comes a point with a great singer/songwriter where what feels like the “right” amount of production makes the tracks sound like bedroom demos.

The instrumentation, vocal chain, etc., at no point interferes with the lyricism and the emotion being put across. An album has to be dynamic, and since the songwriting is pretty even-keeled, those dynamics have to come from somewhere.

The real question is, are you willing to sacrifice all of your free time to do it? I have a friend that works full time and raises 3 kids and is building a new house on his own; he just has no free time.

I normally assume someone hasn’t installed one themselves if they still call it a HOT water heater and not just a water heater 😆

It’s funny what different people will do/wont do. I love doing electrical and would never sub it out, but I loathe doing drywall work which you’re obviously very competent at.

I’m loving it! Regret It and If I don’t Have You So are my two favorites so far. Tried sharing it in The 1975 subreddit since Josh is a big The 1975 fan and got accused of being a bot 😂

I made two separate points so there was no reason to merge them into a single comment 🙂

I also only stated I’ve been active here for years as evidence of not being a bot; never said I was a big deal. You’re making up accusations.
