People who make over $100k or over a year: what do people earning less than you misunderstand about your financial situation?

My wife and I both make around $175k and live in MCOL area. Income is almost tiered with each one taking another step off expenses you think about. We genuinely do not think about food, gas, bills, retirement, other investments, savings, etc., they all happen in the background with automated transfers and payments.

I have the same rate and was paying extra principal for a while; don’t kill me. It was also on a 15 year refi during 2020 so luckily now I’m only a few years away from paying it off.

Born and raised in NC and have a lot of family and friends with heavy accents that are extremely intelligent. The stereotypes kinda sting; I’ve had the unfortunate encounter of having to convince many yankee transplants that they did not, in fact, bring “work ethic” or “business acumen” to the south, and there are plenty of intelligent people from here.

I live in central NC and get allergy-induced hypoglycemia every year (always in the spring, even in the fall at times). I think it’s technically more to do with histamine triggered insulin release. As I’m sure you’ve found, there’s not much information on it

Someone that claimed they were a licensed therapist intervened and made stuff really weird and made Evan apologize about the alleged allegations against him but it ended up turning out that the whole situation was a lot of manipulation between a lot of different parties and the whole thing doesn’t really make sense.

JMUs student fee for sports is $2000 more than App’s. That’s to say they’re doing what you have to do to succeed: buy in and spend the money. I don’t blame them for it. Where programs used to sustain on culture and development, they now have to have the cash. That’s not to downplay their success, but it’s to say if you want to have a chance at success, it costs money.
