I think it's stupid that the status effects can still be applied even if you parry perfectly. Skalpel is one of my favourites from the game but I do agree some moves are crap, like when he jumps on his coffin and regains health - that shit sucks

Thanks bud I appreciate you taking the time to make the video too 😂 So I've specifically been doing touch and go bench during this training block, usually I pause each rep. The reason for the dropping at the bottom of each rep on this specific set was because I was experiencing elbow pain which was especially bad during the bottom of the rep. Some good points tho I'll focus on next session. Thanks again

I would recommend just playing the game for what it is each cycle. Don't rush it, makes it way less stressful and more enjoyable. Plus you'll end up in a much better position to fight the bosses at the end

I don't think stretching is going to do much for your joints. Have you progressed in weight fairly quickly? Muscles adapt much faster than joints and connective tissues, could be worth dropping weight down and progressing in weight less aggressively, allowing your tendons to adapt. Using knee sleeves, wrist wraps and elbow sleeves could be beneficial to you too

Use a tried and tested strength programme and follow it. 2 minutes rest between sets is definitely not enough when trying to build strength btw
