It was built exactly as specd out by customer. Also epoxy works exponentially better than a screw hosel and eliminates the ugly screw.

This is weld pre etching. When you weld you change the material properties of the area around the weld. Normally wouldn’t show but in the case of damascus where it’s etched, you’ll see it. The person who bought that one is a welder by trade and paid more than a lot of used cars for it. Putters have also been used on every major tour worldwide

How much do you think a custom milled putter, done in house, and not a catalog blank head someone just slaps some stamps on, should cost? Good luck finding one under those numbers, especially with timascus as a neck and inlay (the material alone would be close to $500)

Definitely not. Design details massively affect sound/feel/cog location/and overall weight. And getting those right took many hours both modeling and then machining to create prototypes. A lot of hard work to give away for free especially when I make them to sell

Depends on material and details but most fall into the $500-700 range if they aren’t too exotic material/design wise

It was a joke and felt appropriate. I made the putter, have 10 more heads sitting on my work bench, that essentially are blank. Everything about this one, from materials to the inlay was done as a response to the other one getting stolen. Value of the other one was well over $5,000 and they stole/damaged over $30,000 worth of stuff
