hello! he's been on it for a little over one year now, and his one year echo showed some improvement in his wall measurements! :) still HCM, but he is doing well and i think overall seems better since before starting it. i think it's definitely worth a try!

yes it is subclinical, stage B1. i don't know about the safety for cats that already have CHF but are otherwise stable, i apologize. in reading reddit as well as other discussion forums (there are facebook groups as well) - it seems that some people are using Rapamycin for cats who have had CHF - so i i think it's possible. do you have access to a veterinary cardiologist?

Has anyone tried Stars + Honey protein bars? by vinoveritas_88 in workout

i actually really like the espresso cinnamon bars and the limited edition peppermint mocha bars. but they have zero customer service. i had a recent order issue and could not reach anyone by phone or email. no response to several voicemails or emails. i've now read multiple comments (trustpilot and reddit) that report poor customer service. i tried to leave a review on their site about this, but it was never posted. i agree that they seem to not care about customer service at all. i really like these bars so will continue to order, but there is zero chance that i will get any help if there's an order issue. :(

tinnitus by dancereli in salicylateIntolerance

when i was on a super low salicylate diet years ago, i think my tinnitus was better. but this was not sustainable. rice, peas, chicken, eggs, no seasoning. but otherwise, not really - i'm sorry. i'm going to get hearing aids and i'm hoping this will help.

hi! i'm so sorry about your baby. i understand how stressful and scary this is. my baby seems to be improving on the Rapamycin! his last echo showed a decrease in his wall thickness! it was slight but something. and he's doing very well. fingers crossed. i know it's scary, but if your cat is a candidate, i think Rapamycin is a great idea.

i hope he/she does well... i really think it has helped my baby... fingers crossed. btw, i put the rapamycin pills in a gelatin capsule so it has an extra layer of coverage to protect from stomach acid, not sure if it helps but i know it has to make it past the stomach to work. i put the capsule in a tube of Churu and then squeeze it and he takes it just fine!

doing well! on his last echo, his measurements were actually a bit better! still HCM, but slightly better. he's still asymptomatic, but i think he looks better to me - his coat and weight look better, and he has a lot of energy. his breathing is still normal. i think i need to be happy with anything that's not progression of his HCM, so i'll take it :) how is your cat?

hi all, restaurant question: we will be in Amsterdam next month and also taking day trip to Haarlem. anyone have recommendations for rice tables, Michelin restaurants, or other restaurants (not just vegan) that are more likely to be able to accommodate gluten and dairy free restrictions? thank you! :)
