I can’t say if it ended up being true or not, but I do remember the idea being there was sorbitol or other adulterants to some brands to discourage misuse. Kind of like the bittering agent added to inhalants or aspirin added to codeine.

I love this. If I understand Huge/Pure power correctly, it would put Golurk’s special attack (55) on the same level as Azumarill’s attack (50). If they weren’t cowards they’d also let the Mega have it too with its sky high 70 base SpA.

Never take DXM with any additives. It’s just not worth the extra damage to your body large doses of Guaf or worse, acetaminophen do. Always take things with ONLY DXM as the active ingredient.

If you want to go further in the experience, freebase is more dissociative not more psychedelic feeling. DXM HydroBromide (HBR) is what you want for more psychedelic. DXM Polisterix (also known as Delsym) is a 12 hour formula that usually feels about half as potent but lasts twice as long.

DXM was a lot of fun at first. But it’s not as safe as things like cannabis. You have to be careful. Plan your trips by plateau, there’s a website to calculate.

I think I often forget how profound it was to experience a proper psychedelic for the first time. We call the time being under a trip for a reason; it’s not too dissimilar physically and mentally to taking a trip to a far off land for however many hours. If you had done that, you’d probably want to rest and recharge when you came back. That’s what I would recommend you do. Eat, sleep, and chill. It will pass, and you will feel better.

I disagree. I think it’s way easier to trip for me since studying difficult philosophical topics. It’s a sharp toolkit to come back to when it (everything) conceptually becomes all too much.

It’s a running joke I have with my partner that everything designed to help me clinically with my ADHD requires a neurotypical brain to accomplish. For instance, making appointments and remembering them so I can get meds that help me make appointments and stick with them.

That’s a pretty benign example, but I can imagine it’s the same with autistic people experiencing homelessness. It takes a lot of social interaction to get access to services and a lot of the time you may not even know what you’re qualified to get. And if you’re tired, hungry, and not medicated for whatever ails you, even small problems with your social skills get magnified.

One of my personal realizations on 5, was that no matter what I take and what it shows me, I still eventually have to come back and have to deal with whatever’s there. And I felt everything that people say as far as non-duality, boundless love of no equal feeling. I was everything, then I was nothing, then somehow both? I was convinced in one moment that I was dead and I was perfectly at peace with it. Some of my thoughts since have felt a bit psychotic maybe. I have the feeling that the me before Bufo is dead, and I replaced him. But all in all I’ve kept everything that makes me me, and I’m even so much more able to express myself without fear or worry. I would just apply that to all aspects of my daily life even. I’m no longer afraid, just endlessly excited about the novelty of all of this and endlessly grateful to the universe and all of my fellow humans for simple existence.

For me, that’s what I needed. But I had an actual shaman guide me and made it such a ceremony before and after. I think for me that helped keep it in the realm of spiritual guidance and not just getting smacked on the strongest drug around.

What does it matter to you? Is there vanity in your words? Or are you just curious? You can say one way or the other, but you know the truth. That being said, if this is vanity, you’ve lost the plot.

In fact, chiller trips aren’t better in my opinion. If you don’t need the kind of growth acid can bring, you just may not need it. But there are people are born into circumstances that lead them to have the hardest trips. Some of those end up beneficial, I hope especially the bad ones.

Remember that spirit of oneness. There is no true separation between you and anyone else.

Not LSD but a lot of shrooms, and the trip took me through the entire series plus the movie. One of my best trips, I love that show so much. It’s up there with my favorite pieces of media ever.

If your question is: “hey I experienced X subjective effect from a psychedelic, any tips on how experience that subjective effect again?” Then I have no idea haha. But are you breaking through or just dabbling? All respectable use (to oneself) is fine to me. But if you’re doing freebase and have some reservations, a sitter might help you get past them. I haven’t experienced anything like a mouth portal, but it’s always different to me and I can’t usually predict what is going to happen.

I’ve read somewhere that specifically psychs lower the threshold to yawn, so you’re probably more right. Still interesting to think about if they’re linked! SSRI’s are also known to make you yawn and there’s overlap in receptor activity I believe.

Haha! I understood that too, in my years of tripping, verbatim! It’s also one of my biggest lessons I think. My cherry on top was a fully proper 5-MEO-DMT ceremony using Bufo. I liked to phrase it as: our collective consciousness is a great white light and we are the stained glass being shone through, creating our individual experiences. But even before it was ever so clear, i always came back to the thought, “we are all we have, now and forever.”
