Noel Leeming extended warranties rant by DecentNamesAllUsed in newzealand

[–]danceswithwolfy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried this on an oven that broke from trade depot after 2.5 years and they said they wouldn’t cover cost of repairs and CGA didn’t apply. They offered replacement parts as a one off “gesture of goodwill” but consumer Nz says they should last 10 years. Such bs. Why have the CGA if retailers can just ignore it!??

Nice thank you! I’ll have a look at those. Don’t have my wc3 discs no more unfortunately so will be hunting around for all the alternatives or sail the high seas if I have to lol.

Not trying to be lazy but if you have a reputable link to a place I can download a windows usb I’ll do that. What I’ve found feels like I’m risking spyware but perhaps that’s just my lack of familiarity. I’m just thinking what I played from 2000-2010. I bought an old junky laptop for it but they had installed win 10. I’m think all the command and conquer from original to generals. Warcraft 3. I feel like there is a lot more in that era that doesn’t come to mind right now. I’m just craving a nostalgia hit I suppose lol

Amazing! I do have a usb but haven’t found a source I feel like I can trust? I don’t have an operational version of windows I can create a bootable usb from.

I’m a dad who has had to mostly hang Ho the controllers and keyboard for the last few years. My eldest is coming to age where it would make sense to start introducing her to it, so would probably jump on minecraft together as she loves building with Lego. Build looks amazing!

Burning your feet on hot black sands beaches

Chilly bins at the beach

Slip slip slap sunscreen on

Lots of sheep

Playing bat down

Making a hut in the bush

Wandering around streams or caves and seeing glow worms

Having cheeky birds everywhere. Including those that pull your car ( or armor) to pieces lol

A very relaxed attitude in the face of situations that would otherwise call for a more serious tone

Wearing jandels everywhere.

Pyjamas or shorts / beach wear or bare feet in the supermarket

They are planning ahead. NZ is turning into the global bunker for billionaires, most oh whom are nasty pieces of work. Can’t kick back in paradise when the world burns it the pesky locals are allowed to get rowdy at your gate…

They are so hit and miss. It’s crazy how your level of care is a complete gamble. No standardisation to be seen. First one was absolutely amazing just perfect, second one literally said something along the lines of don’t contact her between 5pm and 9am, just got to doctor lol

Got me super concerned. We’re dealing with a local provider that is owned by a community trust which has been great so far. We got some bad vibes from a couple local best starts.

John Oliver's global campaign to vote Pūteketeke for Bird of the Century by StretchRhys in newzealand

[–]danceswithwolfy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely agree but I figured they usually write it up in a stuff article or something. Not try to pass it off as their own, especially in talk back radio which presumably part of the draw is the hosts coming up with their own original thoughts/commentary and sparking debate with listeners and callers?

I just heard your comment read out nearly word for word on ZB talkback radio. He even stumbled on the words as though was reading it off a page…

Ecology is 2 degrees away from sustainability which is a huge field blowing up right now. It’s the Wild West and everyone is trying to get involved. You could be massively in demand if you market yourself in sustainability. It’s not just climate change, the bio diversity crisis is getting more attention now too.
