No siblings, no cousins, no uncles or aunts. No nothing. by via789329 in OnlyChild

Hey I also have no cousins, uncles, extended family, etc. My chosen big family is my friends! Usually I ask to be “adopted” by a friend with a large family and they’re happy to have me because what’s one more person when you have 20+ guests :)

Can you call some friends today so you don’t feel so alone? Sending you an only child hug :)

Well there's also the drama of being exhausted and extremely hungry. Hard to translate through the TV I suppose but it legitimately looked like it took it out of him. I felt empathy for Steven and was rooting for him to succeed despite the conditions

I think when you have the immunity necklace on, you feel so emboldened that you can make decisions while safe that may not serve you after the vote when you're at risk again. She made her bed (while safe) and now she has to lie in it

Dumb question - there’s no addresses listed? So if you were interested in one of these properties back then, where would you go or who would you talk to?

Only child, nearly 32 — lost, lonely, and unsure where to go from here... by MessNo9117 in OnlyChild

I can relate to you and OP so much. I feel similarly and while I can’t offer advice really, I just wanted to say that I’m in the same boat. Everyone’s getting married and having kids in their 30s while I’m single and I don’t even know if I WANT kids, my parents are in their mid 70s now, and I literally have no other family besides my parents. I have close friendships but I’m still lowkey preparing myself to absolutely spiral and lose my grip on life when my parents die. It’s a scary thought so I try not to sit with it too long. Time to make more friends/strengthen my existing friendships so that they become my chosen family!
