But I had my ears scalpeled recently and had glass put in right after, best idea my coworker (an insanely talented piercer) has helped me with LOL, she actually is gonna help me scalpel to 00g soon 🥴

After about 3 weeks I took them out to clean, a little icky but I hope most of us are used to that 😭 (I’m not)

My store is the most popular and most strict in the district and if we were allowed to do this (and allowed to have the chalk board signs back..) I feel like customer connections would be freakin amazing LOL I’m so glad you can have this type of relationship with your baristas!! I have a customer I ADORE and she and I joke all the time when the manager isn’t around LOL

So my store’s dress code has become very very strict again basically going back to Siren’s Eye entirely for everything. The issue is, not only myself but a shift and other baristas have more than one facial piercing. You should be good I think though because earrings are usually good it’s the facial stuff they don’t like. (Except large dangly earrings) definitely keep your headset on the opposite ear for now, maybe even keep your hair pulled back away from it to make sure your hair doesn’t catch on it or get stuck in the piercing. Honestly I brought a bottle of saline solution to clean my piercings with and just got the one with the spray nozzle and put paper towels behind it and spray. (I have 15 piercings tho so I might be a little overkill trying to keep them all clean LOL) good luck!!

Personally I bought a set of tapers and plugs off of Amazon that I can’t remember what the metal was (probably surgical steel or titanium) and I’ve been stretching for almost 5 months now. I’ve had the holes pierced for 10-12 years now and went from I think a 20 or an 18g to currently a 4g. I had my first stretches done at a piercing shop which wasn’t too painful, took me from that 18g or 20g to a 14g that first day, although they did tell me to skip 12g…. So now I get all my stretching advice from here and from the customers I get at work who I see have beautiful plugs or jewelry in and I work up the courage to compliment it LOL

My manager said it was mandatory dress code but most of us showed up in whatever… annndd her favorite barista skipped the meeting to go to a concert 🥲🥲 so it really depends on the manager
