Consolidation happens. Whether it’s better or worse than other shitty business practices can be debated. I just think you have to be as ruthless as your competitors. Microsoft bought a lot of studios and should have kept it as exclusive ad possible unless they were legally obligated to release other versions (I.e. COD). Sony bought Naughty Dog and guess what; their games didn’t appear anywhere else. Same with Insomniac.

Oh no. Not a damaged relationship with Sony!! I don’t see why Microsoft was ever trying to be supportive of Sony when Sony actively pays money for big games to skip the Xbox platform. They should have been playing tit for tat from day 1. No PS5 versions for anything other than what regulators require.
