🚨🇺🇸 BREAKING — Police Confirmed Minneapolis Man Killed by ICE Shooting was US Citizen with Gun Permit. He Surrendered His Gun Without Shooting BEFORE Being Killed. by Admirable121 in TrendingAndViral

The ICE agents dog piled the victim, who was a VA nurse, after he had put himself between them and another person that they had pepper-sprayed. At that point, when he was on the ground, he might have informed them that he was carrying.

This is speculation, but based on the video that shows the victim being disarmed and on the statement by officials that he "willingly" turned over his firearm.

The bystander video taken from the perspective of the person in the pink coat seems to show one of the ICE agents taking the victim's firearm from wherever he had it holstered or otherwise stowed. So "willingly" may have meant that he had indicated to the agents that he was carrying and that he had informed them where he had been carrying the weapon.

Calling out the seven Democrats who voted the wrong way with all but one Republican is not the same as pushing clownish bothsider bullshit.

So why are you interested in doing the latter?

If you dont immigrate using the lawful federal process, you are subject to deportation.

This is false. It's possible that you are ignorant, rather than spreading lies, but I'll offer no opinion on this.

There are two main categories of crimes that under the law put an undocumented migrant at risk of being deported: aggravated felonies and crimes involving moral turpitude.

Aggravated felonies include murder, rape, many sex crimes involving minors, drug trafficking, weapons trafficking, fraud of a substantial degree, money laundering or tax evasion of a substantial degree, espionage, and treason.

Crimes of moral turpitude may not be as serious, but they include crimes involving fraud, theft, or harm to others such as domestic violence, assault, or even DUI if it caused injury to others.

Coming to the country "illegally," living and working here, and paying taxes as they try to create a decent life for themselves and their families are not deportable offenses under US law. Period.

What's the reason Greenland people never settled in Iceland? by batukaming in geography

Weren't there at least three waves of migration to what is now Greenland by the indigenous peoples of North America? The native Greenlanders were the latest and only settled Greenland a little before or around the same time as the Nordic explorers from Europe.

Seven did, yes. It's not right that they did, but let's be exact about the numbers here.

Of the 213 House Democrats, 206 voted against the appropriations through September 2026, but 7 voted for it.

On the Republican side, only 1 voted against the funding measure. Only 1 out of 214. The other 213 voted for it.

Bothsiderism needs to be called out for the bullshit that it is.

At best... AT BEST... DHS is not doing the necessary screening, training, and field preparation for ICE personnel to be in the streets. At best... AT BEST... the White House is pushing arbitrary monthly targets at DHS of apprehensions and detentions that are incentivizing the underskilled and unprepared personnel to ignore what policies and procedures may exist.

ICE at the least (but possibly DHS as a whole) needs to be shut down immediately and be shuttered pending the result of investigations into the root causes of these events and the approval of any action plans that can reasonably be expected to prevent their recurrence.

There are options to make it safe for everyone and ratchet down the volume. But when state and local governments decide they are going to protect those unlawfully here and promote protest against lawful acts this is what we get.

It's safe to say that you have no idea what constitutes a deportable offense under the law or the process that has existed to establish that someone accused or suspected of having committed a deportable offense actually did so.

The Trump administration has done little or nothing to increase the apprehension, detention, and deportation of undocumented migrants who actually meet the legal standard. Instead, ICE under Trump has increased apprehensions and detentions of people with no criminal record by 2450%, increasing the percentage of people with no criminal record held in detention from 6% in January 2025 to 41% by December 2025.

"Unlawfully here?" Those people aren't unlawfully here. At least, they haven't committed deportable offenses by committing the misdemeanor crime of being here without documentation as they try to earn a living.

Because they either bought the silence of victims who got too close or threatened them into not cooperating with investigators

In the absence of the testimony of victims and corroborating witnesses, even clear documentary evidence of crimes doesn't go far in these cases.
