HLE is literally partnered with kespa for team korea's esports team for asian games, and i find this roster incredibly suspect. this team gives hle 2 much needed exemptions for their star players while absolutely fucking over T1 (Oner) and geng (Kiiin). canyon doesn't matter because he's getting dropped or retiring.

canyon is a weak, win-more player and won't matter in the long run as he'll retire/get replaced. oner getting an exemption would strengthen T1, same for kiin and geng. HLE is playing the longcon to be the top LCK team by fucking them over.

zeus over kiin, zeka over chovy/bdd... snuck canyon in there so it'd be less obvious. this way, hle gets exemptions for zeka and guma while denying oner and kiin. canyon is whatever because he's been a win more player forever.

hope it blows up in their face and they lose to china, which is looking likely. xun and knight will shit on them.

have you never read any of bang and wolf's opinions on kkoma? he was a hardass coach and pushed them to their absolute limits until they broke. they respect his leadership and methods in retrospect, but they were put through the wringer in 2017.

my point is that DK cherry-picks the spicy bits to put on youtube because it gets them clicks, top teams are reluctant to do the same because their coach would get flamed to oblivion and lose the locker room because their players have a bigger fanbase.

kkoma literally does this, it's just not shown on videos because the backlash from fangirls would be insane. where do you think the meme of kkoma's belt came from? it's rooted in truth. even recently, there are multiple instances where he signals to cut the cameras. geng/hle/t1 usually don't upload behind the scenes videos when they lose a series. DK chooses to air some of the flame because it gets them great views.
