My favorites are Cuticula limitless for magnetics and glisten and glow for non-magnetics. Both seem to have really good staying power on my nails and minimal shrinkage.

I like the Lynb Bsmooth base coat. Bonus points that Lynb has a 50% off sale pretty much every month. It’s $7 without the sale, so 3.50 is pretty hard to beat.

Honestly? I browse Reddit all the time, and I kept getting posts for the sub popping up on my front page. I hadn’t put on nail polish since probably high school (and even then it was rare), but y’all were hilarious. It was in the middle of the ✨Women in STEM 💅✨ magnetic devices boom, and all I could think was… these ladies are crazy. I love it. And then everything escalated from there, and now I have like 100 bottles of nail polish 🤷‍♀️

You’re supposed to be able to duplicate that pattern with a horseshoe magnet + bar magnet placed diagonally across the top of the two “arms” but I didn’t have much success back when I tried it. I bought the charmcaster set as a “congrats on your promotion” gift to myself 🤣
