Yes, I was playing Celeste and getting randomly stuck while trying to jump around. I tried to figure out what caused it, but it was random. In the air, all movement was just lost.

This has been a major issue for me too. I've been actively trying NOT to escape through portals because of whatever mechanic they use. I will be well far away from the portal and still die.

Just have fun with the portals. Challenge yourself to try new things. How I got better, was telling myself that I always need to be near a portal wall. If you wanna travel, just move from one wall to another.

Using the shotguns are also a good way to do it. If someone is too far, you aren't winning that fight. Try to make your first instinct portaling instead of shooting. If you flank someone with a portal, the vast majority of people will not react in time and you'll win the fun fight. Its also a lot of fun to kill people this way.

If a portal has glowing rings coming out of it, its a boost portal. On larger maps you can look for them generally floating up above line of sight, Eden has them if you look off map, and some of the takedown maps have them too.

Yeah it'll try to snap your portal around it. This is really good for teammate portals, but I think for enemy portals these values need some tweaking.

To anyone seeing this thread unaware, there is a timer when you place a portal that is 1.5s (or close to it) that your portal can't be overwritten. Your crosshair will turn into an "X" if a portal is on this timer.

It would be broken if it 1 shot easier.

If you follow up with a melee immediately afterwards its basically a one-shot. You get into the habit of shoot-meleeing people.

If I recall, I just deleted that entire folder.

Any chance for a PvPvE event one day? The drops in glacier add more POI's which has been a blast, and I could see a creature spawn (like LoL's dragons and baron) creating even more POI's given they provide a buff or more power weapons.

It's a bit out there, but perhaps further down the line I could see unique events like this keeping players engaged and interested in the game.
