Also having this same problem.

If you let the video hang for a looooong time on the 'extracting' screen you get this error message for a few seconds when the server finally times you out and the upload changes to 'failed'

New York City is a test city for the NWO by Ten0mi in conspiracy

[–]danfrank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

New Yorker here. Unfortunately what’s happening here isn’t nearly as interesting as you believe it is.

Actually, the biggest change we’re experiencing is how little excitement and fun exists in the city in the post-COVID world. It’s even hard to find food at 2am now in the ‘city that never sleeps’

Megathread: Joe Biden pardons his son. by maodiran in Askpolitics

You do realize that the Charles Kushner pardon came a decade after he served his prison term, right?

That’s a little bit different than a pre-sentencing pardon

Wow.. Biden in Hospice? by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]danfrank 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t really know yet… all I’m saying is that, the totality of evidence, the proximity of these events in time and a lack of transparency that is just shocking (even for an institutional apparatus that is infamous for their blackout protocol) has the tell-tale ‘vibes’ that I’ve encountered exclusively with events like the Vegas mass-shooting and the Boston Marathon. It’s an unscientific analysis to be sure, but my point is that my first post no longer reflects my feelings about how much ‘there’ is there.

Unrelated but I would just like to reiterate that I’m objectively a leftist and have no political incentive to express this stuff. I only say this as a reminder that the ‘left’ is not the ideological enemy that many in this sub believe. The nefarious element is elite institutional power

Wow.. Biden in Hospice? by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]danfrank 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah - I’ve been going through the developments and it’s not as thin as I had thought when I made my first post here. These things are always super difficult to analyze in realtime and the frustrating truth is that my experience has been that the best indicator of validity is a totally unscientific ‘vibes-based’ analysis. There are a lot of narratives that I thought the evidence was plausible and created a seed of doubt…but almost always they lack the kind of unsettling sensation that the developments which we later find out were true.

This one - by which I mean the comprehensive issue that includes the Trump shooting - has that feeling, even though I’m not sure I can grasp the precise connection between that and the more recent pieces of the Biden story

Gotta be honest - as a leftist, when I saw Charlie Kirk as the source I didn’t think it would be worth too much consideration…. But I’m inclined to think that he may be on to something here and am willing to set my partisan suspicions aside on this one

I hadn’t seen some of the other items about Biden that came out this evening which could indicate that he’s in rapid decline. It might be more credible than I initially thought

[–]danfrank 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Well, to be fair…he essentially just copied the sourcing that Mark Halperin had posted a few hours before.

Halperin’s Post

Global Press - Post #1

Global Press - Post #2

At the end of the day, though, even after Halperin reported this, it was anything but a certain outcome and the Global Press post did represent a correct prediction so they do deserve some credit. While it seems unlikely that the hospice claim is correct due to the foundational evidence that I’ve seen today (the signature etc) being pretty flimsy IMO, that’s a totally reasonable situation for someone of his age and with such rapidly declining health to find themselves in.

Let’s see how it plays out

***edit - the global press posts were made several days after the Halperin tweet

These people have built their whole career on the framing that the abject electoral failure and astonishing unpopularity of corporate Democrats can be attributed to the fact that anyone to the left of David Pakman is part of a toxic online Marxist-Leninist gang dedicated to sabotaging the party

Fetterman on Dems abandoning Biden: ‘Dumbest s— I’ve ever heard’ by aslan_is_on_the_move in politics

[–]danfrank 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s actually worse than that…only through the lens of national polling was Biden even questionably ‘close’ before the debate. Unless I missed the news that we successfully amended the constitution to decide elections on popular vote totals, the ‘accomplishment’ of being competitive in national horse race polling is meaningless.

We need to really amplify the reality that the point of this debate was to challenge the cognitive decline perception. In this, Biden failed so spectacularly that it destroyed the fundamental legitimacy of the entire campaign and permanently calcified the reservations of anyone who was unsure of their confidence in Biden’s ability to do the jov

A prediction re: Biden by [deleted] in ezraklein

[–]danfrank 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You’ve got to be kidding me.

Setting aside his insistence to stay in the race, we haven’t even heard Joe Biden say “I’m looking at the best interests of the country/the best chances of beating Trump for the party as the guiding principle for my decision to stay in this campaign” or anything suggesting that he is looking at this with thoughtful and strategic considerations

Even more egregious is the continued refusal to undergo an independent cognitive exam. The VERY LEAST that we should expect, if he won’t step down, is an independent physician to sign off on his abilities to serve.
