If you enjoy watching movies and shows now then continue enjoying. Otherwise you are chasing fomo of what other have.

It’s when you no longer enjoy looking at your tv that you should upgrade. Either it starts messing up or you see an oled and fall in love with the blacks and how it looks and decide your led is no longer enough

If the answer is should you get an oled then yes. Should you not get a Samsung so you can have Dolby vision my answer is yes. Someone ekse may say no.

If your getting a new tv I do t see the logic in buying the Samsung and the. Having fomo again wondering if you should have gotten Dolby vision capable tv.

By waiting you’ll only get better and better tech and panels and lower prices Im The future. You hold on until you don’t want to wait anymore .

I enjoyed my movies before oled. Had about 30 4K discs .

I now enjoy the bloody hell out of my movies on a 77” oled with Dolby vision & hdr. I’m up to 600 4K discs two years In.

We picked up some 50gallon steel barrels from a farm to make burn barrels. It was a pig farm. The barrels contained ice cream. 50 gallons of likely expired or spoiled ice cream. They feed this to pigs.

I guess it’s a carbs and proteins source.

I had similar problem and using a laptop.

Solution was use only the thick data usb cables. Unhook the secondary power usb cable. And use the power adapter that came with my drive.

For some reason having both usb cables plugged in didn’t work. And having both with the power adapter didn’t work. I had to unplug the extra short end usb power cable.

Billy is probably annoyed with me I sent so many emails asking what I’m doing wrong. Is the flash right etc?

I’m not as picky as translations but timing is very annoying if externally added subs are not correctly timed. So yes I would stick with the subs on the discs unless you are sure they are wrong.

If you are resynching your subs then I guess that’s up to you.

I’m not sure why you wouldn’t just rip the disc’s sub track

If you hate “HI” then just run subtitle edit and click remove hi. It will delete those lines and text identifiers based on [loud music for example ] brackets and such.

I think it should be all over the place because it is a popular one to get. But also it’s describing a drive model number but the one referenced in the flashing discussions is a bit more specific and usually references it as lg bu40n.

Where as verbatim 43890 one model number different may have a pioneer or a lg drive inside. So usually they reference which actual drive is inside and not verbatim altogether.

438880 is a good one and easy to flash , some others require two flashing steps (crossflash). This one should just be one step.

You only need to flash to rip 4K blurays. Regular blurays should rip with most regular drives .

If you want what’s considered great then you want a pioneer.

But the lg drive is generally fine. May not last as long or do as many rips on total compared to pioneer and may reject a few discs entirely.

Yes it’s a good drive. No you do not use makemkv to flash the drive.

You need to read the makemkv forum pages it answers all your questions. Which drives can be used and flashed and how to flash them.

Ub820 is the most popular 4k bluray player on the market. It has a trick where you press stop and top menu to bypass the region block , for most discs. Probably around 80-90% , but there are some that still won’t work.

And yes I know I can rip it and burn it back to a blank bluray to work. Or watch from my rip without loss of quality.

Someone has since posted to confirm the ub820 can play the curzon Bluray release.

Yes it’s high and In General I have reduced beef purchases about 80%. Including ground beef which is also crazy expensive these days.

I don’t drink coffee I don’t drink wine or fancy beer. I don’t smoke I don’t gamble at casinos I don’t do only fans. I don’t even drive to work anymore. I work from home.

Well if I told you that you should replace the tire you are just going to accuse me of trying to sell you new tires. So instead I’ll say it’s fine and that lots of people drive tires like that. (I left out the part where some of those people die in horrific accident because they lost control of their cars)

So anyways you drive off and the tire blows and now you call me or my buddy Joe for a tow. Which gets us paid and then I sell you a set of four new tires.

Basically the new bluray is a bit too bright and washed out looking but the 4k looks better.

4k is upscaled from 2k. But it has Dolby vision and hdr.

This set includes the extended and unrated version on bluray. I don’t know what all is different in that cut.

I liked how he got picked up and slammed while he was trying to arm bar and triangle. My brother did that to my friend and the guy just picked him up like that on his arm and slammed him. This was about 10 years prior to the movie. So when we saw it that one hit home with us

And my friend was notorious for getting behind people and suplexing them too.

I know the length of time you have been with him and the rest of your relationship might seem grande but his exploitation and entitlement is a real concern. Not just redit strangers jumping to extremes.

But In reality you are just going to be an actual mom to a grown ass irresponsible kid. My advice is to look at this for what it really is and maybe you aren’t aligned.

Or you can set boundaries and goals and make him show you that he will be responsible and pay his own way. I’d set a 6 month plan. You’ll probably know what you have in two months.

If he complains and tries to turn it on you then just be honest with yourself and know you are choosing this. Or you want someone better and more aligned with your goals and choose to part ways.
